We've been focusing so hard on our potential "EVE"s, we've forgotten about who was OFFERING the Apple, the SERPENT. Wonder, no more. After tonight, it's freaking OBVIOUS. It's NATALIE. She used her wonderous voodoo on both JASON and ERIK, getting them to do incredibly STOOPID things, with her magic persuasive powers. "Trussst in Meeee. Jussst in meee. Close your EYESSS and Trussst in Meee!" Parvarti and Cirie have to look at Natalie and look at each other and WONDER at the MONSTER they created and how she's going to DRINK THEIR MILKSHAKES. They looked at Nat and thought they had a nice little Nanny GOAT and didn't realize the REASON she had GOAT horns on her head was because she was freakin' SATAN. Fooling Dog Boy was like winning a medal in the Special Olympics. Doing it TWICE, the second time right in front of the freaking JURY, turned the price of her Stock from 2¢ a share to $2000 right in front of their EYES. GULP!!! She's turned from Dark Horse to Dark Overlord in one episode! Parv and Cirie must be waking from some freaking NIGHTMARE, realizing they were NEVER in Control, NATALIE has been playing THEM like a freaking FIDDLE, just as badly as she worked Jason and Erik. "Give a RAT some CHEESE," INDEED! Oh my HECK! "Queen" PARVARTI - Only a FIGUREHEAD. She's only there to look nice on the Postage Stamps. While she was off SUNBATHING on Exile, Amanda was working Erik over like a DA, forcing confessions out of him left and right. Meanwhile, Cirie and Nat concocted the plan to get Erik to screw himself blind on National TV. She deserves ZERO votes out of the Jury. All she did was betray Ozzy and James and put Amanda in mortal peril for no god damned reason. Her "minions" have outplayed her at every step. Good Night. CIRIE - Cirie's played an excellent game, but she's made the same MISTAKE Amanda did in China. She allied with the right people, played all her cards right, but played to the AUDIENCE but not to the JURY. She tried to win the Game in her HEAD. SHE was responsible for the Coup against Ozzy, but let PARV take all the credit. She came up with the scheme to make Erik screw himself out of a million dollars, but NAT made it happen. It's going to be a really HARD SELL to the Jury and all she may end up with is a lot of GOOSE EGG on her face from a final vote. The Case For AMANDA, Part Deux - Natalie now has the MasterMind Card.™ (Never leave home without it!) But Amanda still hold the ANGEL Card. She never betrayed anyone who didn't mess with her FIRST. She now has Ozzy's, James's and Eliza votes in her hands. And with another Final Three facing the Jury, that might be all it takes. The Last Temptation of Amanda: Chances are good that Amanda will win the last IC. We KNOW it's going to be ENDURANCE and she ROCKS at that while Cirie is helpless and Queen Parv is going to pull a HATCH and go sit on her ass sipping Iced Tea, confident she will be in the F3. It's down to Nat V Amanda. That means that Natalie's last play is to try to get Amanda to side with her and force a tie. "C'mon, take meee to the Finalsss! You KNOW Jassson and Erik hate me for making them look like foolsss! And the tie-breaking challenge is Fire-ssstarting, which you know SSSCerie is going to lossse! Trussst in meee!!!" DON'T BITE THE APPLE, Amanda!!! The Lion King UGH-ain (with a Twist!): So many PRETENDERS to Ozzy's throne. I thought "Queen" Parv was Scar, but in reality it was NATALIE all along, giving everyone bad advice that leads everyone that follows it to their DOOM, just like the Serpent of Eden. The New Lion King wasn't SIMBA, it's NALA, Amanda. The one left behind to have to SUFFER under the Rule of Scar. Only SHE can push SCAR off the CLIFF and RESTORE the Old Kingdom, the Kingdom of the FAVES.

In both cases I believed the four best players became the final 4 with the right person winning. I've haven't been so happy about any final four in any season of Survivor since. Every single one of these women have made game moves which make them worthy to be the winner. If I could, I'd give each one of them a million. NATALIE: The mostly male editors probably kept her under wraps because they didn't like her personality. Instead, they spent the first 2/3 of the season having an undeserved mancrush on uber-athletic, but way-overrated-as-far-as-the-game-goes Ozzy. The editors behaved liked fans, focusing on who they liked. I like Natalie's dark side, but then I have two cats myself, so I appreciate it. Her playing Jason and executing the move against Eric were both brilliant. While Alexis was more likeable to the masses and therefore got all the pre-jury confessionals, Natalie by far has been the best of the fan players. She is the one hope of a fan winning. Even if she makes the final 2 or 3, I don't think she will win, unless there is a final 3 and two of the favorites split their votes and she comes up the middle. Unlike the belief that StephaME already had her chance and the belief that the outcasts didn't deserve a second one, these fans seem to be a little star struck of the favorites and of the 3 fans on the jury, only Alexis would be inclined to vote for her. But kudos for a wonderful job done. AMANDA: Here is the biggest jury threat. Not only did she not directly betray Ozzy and James, the fans who man crushed Ozzy will admire her performance in challenges and her not directly betraying anyone who didn't betray her first. Her twirling the HII like it was a string of pearls when presenting it at TC was a wonderful moment. If she makes the final 2 or 3, she will win. She may resent HOW Ozzy was booted, and she may have dated him afterward, but it was the best thing that could have happened to her because it got her head and her ass 100% into the game playing on "her" behalf instead of "his" or "their" behalf. PARVATI: She could win against Natalie, but I don't think she'll win against Amanda or Cirie. She backstabbed nearly everyone on the jury. Granted these jurors aren't the brain trust and it may blow over. However, she got rid of Ozzy at the exact perfect moment and did great strategic moves throughout the game. I don't think either Ozzy or James would vote for her, especially as all of her likely opponents can also point to strategic moves they did. However, she played the game far better than I expected this season and is fully deserving of winning if she does. CIRIE: Here is the person I am rooting for who I believe played the best overall game this season. From engineering Yau Man's boot because it was the best one in HER interest, as opposed to her alliance's, she set the tone for this season. Unlike Parvati, she didn't have the level of trust that would lead to her being seen as a betrayer. Unless there is someone who feels she is undesering because she isn't a challenge stud, and thes mancrush-on-Ozzy jurors could believe that, they wouldn't mind admitting to being outwitted by her. If she can articulate just how strategic she has been with the same finesse she just played Eric on the beach, she will win. I'm voting for her to win the $100,000. My fear is that she will end up in the great Survivor tradition of Lex, Kathy, RobC. of being the best overall player of the season, but falling at the final IC. But go Cirie! I have no idea who is going to win this, but I think the four of them deserve a SAG Ensemble Award for how they played Eric this episode and at tribal council. I wish I could give them a bonus prize. Amanda has the best chance to win, unless Parv realizes that Amanda IS her biggest threat to winning the game. However, Amanda and Natalie will fight to the finish in that endurance final IC. This is not a vote, but in my current reasoning, my head tells me that Amanda will win, my heart tells me that Cirie will in and my gut tells me that somehow Parvati will squeak this out -- so watch Natalie win. It's fine. I'm totally happy with any four of these wonderful players winning -- the most deserving final four since S1 and S2. But go Cirie!

Posts: 1282 (05/09/08 9:37 AM) Registered user More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Yeah, I'm really really wishing we could have seen more of Natalie early on, in confessionals at least, if indeed she didn't say anything around camp. I'm especially wondering if she was controlling Alexis, not that they were such a partnership as we were shown. Arcwise, she was just too meteoric. I think she will be crushed by the chariot-type thing in the next round. Cirie hasn't really had an arc. She was obsessed in the Yau-Man boot episode, but otherwise has had a very flat season. We've seen her a lot in confessionals, especially with comments on dynamics within her tribe, and we've also seen a lot of key conversations between her and other of the final four. Many folks on the discussion boards have used that to identify her as the mastermind, but it stands out for me that we're not hearing anything like that in post-boot interviews from jury members. We didn't much need a narrator this season to tell us about events, because they weren't that important. We did need someone to tell us about relationships and psychology, and that is the role the editors chose for Cirie. I think she will be dumped from the chariot-type thing at F3. I think the good/bad showdown will be Amanda and Parvati. They've both been shown with a variety of strengths (challenges, relationships, work around camp, bluffing), but also with weaknesses (backstabbing, riding the couples clique coattail). They've both shown growth from their first season. I'm going with Parvati - I think the tanning on exile and the breakdown in the first part of the finale are her doubt, but she will win a close vote from a relatively non-emotional jury.

The three remaining favorites have no compelling reason to turn on each other, especially given that Amanda would seem to be a lock to win both immunity challenges in the finale. I suppose Natalie or Parvati could beat her, but I doubt it. If Natalie doesn't win immunity at F4, she's gone. For whatever reason, she's perceived as a jury threat now. Her big moves were getting rid of Jason and Erik, but beyond that, what do we know about her? It seems to me that she got to the end game without a thought about how to win it. Cirie - also someone who has played themselves to the end without a chance of winning. The description of her playing the Amanda game of playing to the cameras but not to the jury seems pretty accurate. Natalie and Amanda wouldn't take her to the F2 and I'm not convinced she could beat Parvati. The Sandra strategy only works if you have someone as dumb as Lill also in the F3. She's not going to outlast either Amanda or Parvati in an endurance challenge. Parvati - talk about an arc that skyrocketed and then quickly came back to earth. She beat Ozzy (and to a lesser extent Jason) and then sat back to coast. Unfortunately, in the meantime, Amanda played her ass off. If you were to put Amanda and Parvati's games together, you'd have one complete perfect game. As is, you have two halves. And when one person is playing the end game better... Amanda - the winner. For sure. She's played pretty flawlessly since the Ozzy boot, and not a single person on the jury (save maybe for Erik) can be pissed at the way she's done it.

I think this analysis and from BirdL is right on. My impression of Parv is that she knows she's seen as a backstabber and is laying a bit low and letting other people make enemies. She doesn't need to make waves as her position is secure at this particular point anyway. After the expected Nat boot, I'm expecting some animation.

When Alexis was booted, Parvati said in her confessional "I promised to keep Natalie safe this week", which tells me that they don't have a final 2 or final 3 agreement. They all told her last week that she was going since Eric had immunity, thats when Cerie came up with her plan. It will all come down to how they do in front of the jury, and how much of the voting is game play and how much is emotional. I think that it should come down to being between Cerie/Amanda, they played the best overall games. But between the 2 of them, I think Cerie played better. So it all comes down to how they do at the Jury questions. If Amanda has another jury performance like she did in China, Cerie is our winner. If she learned anything from Todd, Amanda could pull it off. Thats my 2 cents.

Screams redirection/distraction to a Parvati win. Natalie should be a shoo-in for F3, but I think the Fave girls will stick together though ONLY IF Amanda wins F4 Immunity, otherwise the temptation will be too strong for Cirie and Parv to pass up.

WE can see how she's been the puppetmaster all along but I don't think it will be apparent to the jury, unless she does some incredibly fancy talking. And with the rumors of and F2 instead of F3, I think she won't get the chance to talk to the jury. I think it's an Amanda/Parvati F2, and if Amanda doesn't win, it will stun me. Natalie is very likely gone at F4. I can't remember when I've enjoyed an entire season more, and the last three, no FOUR episodes have been dynamite. Ever since ELiza played the fake idol, TC has been so great! Jeff P. is doing an amazing job of keeping a straight face. "I think we've just seen a life lesson." Priceless!

She'll lose Cirie's vote, but I see it as her game to lose....unfortunately she may have already done just that in China

There was a F3 in the Cook Islands and in China and they used the same wording. Both of them were final 3's. Nothing is for sure, but I don't think it is time to put F3 to bed quite yet. The quote that people are taking and running with is a quote taken from a local newspaper from Michigan, hardly reliable. This is a direct quote from TVGuide, who is more realiable seeing as they spoiled the Ozzy boot and the James evacuation: 8:00pm CBS 120min 2008 Stir the Pot! The final immunity challenge and tribal council are held. Later, the finalists are questioned by the jury members, who vote for the winner. Jeff Probst is the host. ETA by croc- That is one press report, there is an another. There is also Volcanic Glass' work, which I know at least one other site corroborates but hasn't posted yet. I'm not saying that it won't happen, I just don't think it's a sure thing. There are a lot of casual survivor fans who still think there's a final two. My own mother, who watches every season forgot about that last night when I watched the show with her. We don't know if that was something the author just added in, or if they got the information from somewhere else (perhaps Erik?). That being said, if you could link us to the second media report it would be much appreciated.

This isn't the first time we've gone with local accounts for such information. I don't have time to dig for it. I firmly believe VG is correct on this. She has been pointing to an f2 for quite some time and Trixiego has even determined who they are. If you want to go contrary to her then by all means do.

But it won't be because of gameplay, it'll be because of the lack thereof I can only hope two things happen at FTC: 1. She gives another piss-poor jury performance 2. Ozzy's bitterness is sooooooo over-the-top, the other jurors realize they can't award $1 million to Aman-duh just because they got outplayed by someone else and aren't happy about it. If anything, the million should go to the person who out-played them all best - and that'll be whoever is sitting next to Aman-duh I hope that person is Cirie - but I have a feeling it won't

Was she aware of how horribly she did, and did she make the same mistakes at this final tribal? She doesn't appear to be going to any of these last tribal councils with that pathetic sad-eyed expression on her face, like in China. I think she has done really well especially at these last two. And obviously no one knew the outcome of China yet, but did she tell any of them she made final 3, or did James tell them? Would they still vote for her, not knowing if she had just won the million from China, and possibly give her another million on top of that? I do hope they just swallow their pride and vote for the best player. I am rooting for Cirie personally. I think she has played a great manipulative game. ETA: Amanda did look pretty sad at the China finale. Was it just because she had done so poorly at the final vote from China, or because she repeated those same mistakes in Fans vs. Faves? But Parvati is miles ahead based on edgic, especially ep.1-4 editing where Parv was solid and Amanda was her shadow. Parvati vs Amanda Themes (Fans\Girls vs Couples\Boys) Amanda story didn't start until ep.5 Interesting that Amanda had the confessional about her "little 4 clique" Suddenly that become HER alliance more than Parv (after editing showed us Parv building it). That theme was continuted at the merge with Amanda not liking the fan interlopers. Sure enough, Alexis\Nat help vote off her boyfriend and later threaten Amanda herself. Amanda is all about the Couples alliance and keeping her clique together. She uses the idol to destroy the fans' chance to take over the game. Parvati, on the other hand, is multi-alliance girl. She's Eliza's go-to girl in ep.4. Parv promises Natalie F4 and does the cauldron dance with Alexis. Meanwhile her relationship with Ozzy was downplayed early, and her making out in ep.2 was downplayed relative to Amanda. Parv is all about gameplay and girlpower. Amanda disses the fans collectively in ep.6, but Parv befriends the fangirls. Looks like Parv may lose the Ozzy\James votes at final TC, but win on the basis of Fan or Girlpower votes. If that's the storyline, whatever anti-Couple editing there was (ep.2) could ironically be seen as favouring Parvati if she's facing Amanda. Amanda and Cirie have been more in-your-face in doing dirty work against the fans, so Parv avoids blame plus wins credit for booting Ozzy. The more Ozzy is a Twatwaffle at Final TC, the more attention is focused on his boot as the move of the game. Jason said in an interview that he'd vote for the person who got Ozzy out, which makes sense since he was all about beating Ozzy.

Posts: 19962 (05/09/08 2:08 PM) MESS member More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	amanda better hope she wins 2 seasons in a row she makes f2/3 i thought rob-m was the bufflo bills of realty shows i think this chick has him beat, this time pov will beat her. they need to send chris over to the pondarosa to talk to ozzy jason and erik never trust a women or a goverment. nat screwed up again like she did when she got rid of jason only to be booted at f4 or 3, while pov suntans at exile, both cirie an nat should have tried to boot amanda or pov.
