I'm sorry,but neither China nor Micronesia is the best post All Stars season,Panama is. Unlike Micronesia, it doesn't have 20 players.Smaller casts
are always better, not in terms of quality but the fact that everyone gets airtime. It has Exile Island obviously, but it was the first time they did it,and
was thus fresh. Unlike China, it actually had an interesting cast. Practically everyone had airtime, and if they didn't, at least they had a rememorable
moment(Nicks out of left field libertarian rant, Ruth Marie getting chased arounf like a ragdoll by Bobdawg, and Bobdawg has proved post show how underedited
he was). As for between China and Micronesia,I like Micronesia better. It was a lot more fun to watch,sans Dave Cruser

Agree EI got some likeable players but gameplay wise.. meh. It's kinda forgettable yet while I'm watching it, I did enjoy esp. the last couple of
episodes.

True,Micronesia is more fun to watch from a game standpoint, but the interaction between terry and Casaya at the merge was awesome. I think EI suffers from
awful editing, for instance,there was this moment where Aras was talking about the dwindling food supply, a valid moment,this is Survivor isn't it? 5
seconds later they show an extraneous confessional by Terry on how he needs to "continue to kick their butts at every IC". Also, they obviously
didn't show Ciries darker side because they just wanted her to be sweet, I heard she was pretty mean to Courtney(jot that I blame, I heard she was really
hard to live with)

The reason 20 castaways(as well as 17,18 or 19 castways and anything above 16 excepting ASS) suck ass is because theres no fluidity to the show. It invites the
producers to introduce lame and/or pointless twists, plus one person is supposed to leave every thrree days,not whenever the producers feel like it.The ritual
of going to TC every 3 days gave it kind of a mythical undertone,and while we will never get that back, Survivor feels nowadays like just a gameshow and not
"the adventure of a lifetime". I agree that Micronesia would be much worse without 20 castaways, but I hope this is the last time.There can be
multiple blindsides with 16 people, see Pearl Islands

I've enjoyed this season....but it's been so over the top from episode 1 that it's either going to make the season following it seem boring, or its
going to make the producers try and keep pushing for more blindsides and twists to keep up with all the response that this season has gotten.
This season is better than China (although I liked China a lot), but how good this season is will depend on if they strain too hard to make future seasons similar. |

who cares if everyone is not shown..if they are not shown then they were probably boring as fuck.Plenty of people care if someone (Becky, Stacey, Natalie) is not shown for most, if not all, of their season. And you're right, it was between they were boring as fuck. That's why casts, like China, where everyone is shown and everyone has a story, work so well. Casting got it right on with China. It was a return to a period in the show in which I thought they couldn't go back to ever again. It gives me hope for more great seasons to come. Micronesia is fun with all of it's blindsides, and the past five episodes have been brilliant, but the characters just aren't as strong as they could be, with some exceptions of course. I'll take interesting characters over blindsides any day, because guess what? Interesting characters will do interesting things. Luckily we have people like Cirie in Micronesia to do that, for example. And that's why Pearl Islands is so well-liked around here. Interesting characters, very over-the-top, who did crazy things that were non-strategy related, and then produced a bunch of blindsides. Plus it's also more fun when the audience doesn't see some of the blindsides coming. Alot of Micronesia's blindsides (with the exception of Ozzy's), while fun to watch, I have seen coming before the tribe gets to Tribal Council. |

I got to agree with a few other's, China had the better cast, but the post merge episodes of Micronesia are way better. I also think China has the better
winner in my opinion. I think Todd could have outplayed any of the final 4 females in Micronesia.
