Speaking of the Duggars, expect a "Duggars Come To New York" special, because I was going to a show on Wednesday night and had to cut through Times
Square and I saw a camera crew and two familiar looking girls. I stopped to look at who they were and noticed Jim Bob Duggar and a few of his brood.
Me and my friend were saying we wished it was the Gosselins instead. |

There is a J&K+8 marathon all day tomorrow starting at 9am. Even though I have seen each episode about 9 times, I will still be tuned in.

One question. I think I may ahve missed one or two episodes, Did John quit his job? And if he did, did he explain the reasons behind it. I thought I had read
that he had quit and I just wondered how a family ten survives with basically no income besides TLC money.

I think he works for Bob of "Bob and Beth" their friends. He can work from home so he's more available to Kate for the kids. I'm not sure
what he does. Bob and Beth have a pretty nice house so he must have some kind of business.

I was just watching some of this, I am not a reg viewer. They are amazing.
I want to know how in the hell she got her stomach back? Sorry if you all have already discussed this, but did she have a tummy tuck? I had to giggle when she said she was a germ-a-phobe. Good luck to ya sister. With all those kids I can kinda see why, but I am sure that battle is like shoveling sand into the ocean. |

yeah she got a tummy tuck. i think it was covered in one of the episodes. she showed before and after and it was so gross before.

I made a quick scan through this thread to see what people thought of the wife and whether they had an instinctive dislike of her. I have only seen a bit of
this show, but I knew I would hate to know her when she scoffed "Of course Jon takes my car at night to fill it with gas. You don't think I would do
that, do you? That's just common courtesy" Well LA-DI-DA your highness.

I have been watching this show off and one this week. One episode mentioned that John is an IT guy (information technology), which might explain how they can
"afford" stuff (I am sure the TLC money helps, too). When I first started watching this show, I thought kate was a ball busting bitch, but I now see
how their dynamics seem to work for them. I don't know how she manages when all 8 kids melt down and begin to whine. I would have CPS at my door all too
often in her shoes.
Tonite's episode (hannah rides a horse), she casually mentioned she didn't marry an asian cowboy. I noticed her kids have an amerasian look about them, but never really noticed her husband's ethnicity. What is his ethnicity? I am just curious. He does have the patience of Job. He has to be a saint to be married to a ball buster. Some guys just do it better than others. But I actually do appreciate Kate. I think she will produce 8 good American kids as they grow up. I am actually surprised that all 6 sextuplets seem to be relatively normal. It seems like a lot of the "litter" babies end up with cerebal palsy and stuff. She is really lucky. |

kate is a horrible woman. I watched all day, and my loathing for her grew exponentially as the day went on. |

Yeah, he is clearly Cauc-Asian himself.
Saw a couple of episodes for the first time. She is shrill, but with 8 small kids, seems she can't really help it. |

If I remember correctly, there was an episode where they talked about when they first met and she is about 2 years older than he is.

I'm glad that more of you are watching and can hate Kate along with me. Ok hate is strong but lord she acts like she's entitled to Jon doing
everything once he gets home from working since she was home all day with the kids. Ok first off YOU decided to do the fertility thing and have 6 more...and
we always see she has someone there helping her. Hell even the film crew helps. She's a spoiled spoiled woman.
I'm also rather pissed off she SELLS all the donated stuff she gets. Why not find another family with multiples and help them out? Oprah flies you to Chicago, some resort in Utah flies you there. You get all this stuff, Kate. Just the way she treats him makes me sad. Granted he needs to grow a backbone if it bothers him, but still I just get she is NEVER EVER regretful for one thing she's said/done. |
