Ugh. Always with the possessiveness. The Lakers aren't yours and the Jazz aren't mine, any more than Peja is your man or Deron Williams is mine because
I stood in line behind him at LaBamba's once in college after the bars closed and he was being modest, level-headed and congenial with all his fans, though
drunk, and he told me about how he wanted to play in the NBA one day and now he is.
Now that doesn't change the fact that the Lakers will probably sweep now, unless Carlos Boozer has a little bit more luck finding his way to Energy Solutions Arena and actually showing up for the game, which he didn't do for the games in Los Angeles. |
