Horace said he was dead for 12 years, and Danielle has (had) been on the island for 16 years. So that means DI was still in charge for 4 years while Danielle was there. Alex was taken shortly after her birth 16 years ago --- so who took Alex and how did Ben end up with her? Also, the Doctor was found dead BEFORE Keamy returned to the boat. I guess they'll just have to move the island ... lol

Woodgie, I assumed that supported the notion that time doesn't operate normally between the island and the real world. So when the doc washed ashore on the island, it was a sign of what was to come...his fate back on the freighter was sealed unless someone disrupted the flow of time.

So many of the characters were just shit-your-pants creepy. Just the looks on their faces. First Horace. Then Richard. Then Abaddon. Even Ben when Locke woke up in camp. Everyone seemed so menacing that I was on the edge of my seat. Even the way Christian looked was creepy at first that I almost jumped out of my seat. And I even KNEW it was going to be him anyway! They just packed in so many great things in this ep. But I want to shoot Keamy. I hate him. I hate him so much. Where is Russell Crowe with a fork when you need him??

Destiny Post #280. I think Ben's demise as "the leader" was essentially written in stone tonight. He confessed himself that his time is over. I love this show...HARD.

And I have to say that Ben and Hurley sitting on a stump sharing a candy bar has to be the most surreal moment in LOST ever.

It was creepy that the guy seemed to know about the time thing. So, the bad guys know about it, and Locke will know, if he doesn't yet. To move the island you just need to breach the space-time continuum to stay one step ahead (or behind).
