I doubt any of us hated Erik, so we did not revel in his downfall. At the same time, we acknowledged just how retarded a move it was in a season noted by retarded moves. It takes the crown. OTTx? |

Erik's either OTTM5 or OTTN5, depending on whether you want to punish him with an N for making a ridiculously stupid move.
My choice would be OTTM. I wonder if any of the girls rate an N tone rating. Jurors are allowed to laugh at the dumb players but the four girls were rubbing it in to Erik at TC. That has to at least lean negative. |

All the ladies had a tinge of negativity, but were any of them full blown N? Nah. Looking at the charts, we haven't had a winner go UTR the episode before
the finale since Amber in ASS. 0_0
My gut still tells me Parv takes it unfortunately. |

I don't think any of the girls were P, N or M, just neutral
Erik on the other hand, no clue... |

Okay, posting early on the rare shot I have influence.
Erik is either Mixed if you feel he merited a tone or Neutral. He obviously can't be P, but he is not N. Nope. You don't hate him. You pity him. That's all. It frustrates you he couldn't be smarter. But he just wasn't. He's the sweet little brother you pick on. Can't hate him, don't fully respect him. Parvati wins. Remember China? any season? She got a little tinge of uh-oh, not looking for the idol. She got a possible vote against her and "could have gone home" think the fans. She "can't" beat Amanda. Take a breath. Think. That's the winner in the penultimate episode. To a T. Amanda. She's wily, manipulative but anyone with a brain sees through her. Hi, Erik. Cirie had great lines. (Jedi mind trick - awesome, Master.) The situation called for her to play along with Natalie. But it's Parvati's win. Is this the first time the viewers got to see people planning to completely fudge their emotional reactions at TC before it happens? I can't recall any scene like the two girls plotting to have some yell at Erik and the others build a way out. Obviously the first time all votes are shown. The best episodes, minus the finale, are the ones without suspense in the vote, I'll say it again. It's like the producers of Homicide Life On The Street said, to keep their rhythm, they had two eps every year that broke it, and those were always the ones people remembered. Erik had the ugliest shoes this side of the Minnesota Golden Gophers. What was that? He needs some Tyra. And from my view, deserves her! :-) FLF, I am either proud or ashamed to admit that I have every single episode of Who's The Boss? on VCR and am working on turning them into DVD's as they won't release more than season 1. But I also have the complete Miami Vice and Homicide, so what does that say? I never ever have gotten into a show in its first season. Once I know it's a hit and will last, I usually check it out. Watched Survivor first in season 6, Boss in season 3, Vice in season 1 summer reruns (remember those when it was cool?), and Homicide in season 2. Idol in season 6. Amazing Race season 7. If I'm ever going to watch episode one of anything live, I'll have to be in it I guess. Ratings tomorrow. Pretty good ideas, but doing a rewatch with my mom later. Michael

Amanda- CPM3
Cirie-CPM4 (Neither was positive nor negative) Natlie- CPM3 Parvati-UTRN2 (Another negative, and I'm a fan of hers...not too good for her, but not too bad...I guess) Erik-OTTN5 Interesting that (at least for me) that no one was shown in a positive light. Based on this episode it's Amanda/Cirie. But that's not what Edgic is about, so Parv is my winner's pick. |

Parvati reminded me of Aras chilling on Exile Island while Cirie took care of strategic business back at camp.
She also cames out of it as the person least responsbile for betraying Erik. Loved Cirie tonight, just like I loved Amanda last weak. But the winner is rarely the star of the penultimate episode. How boots and key episodes were edited ep 1 - Parvati the star ep 3 - Cirie booted Yau-man (assist Parv) ep5 - Cirie booted Joel ep9 - Parvati booted Eliza ep10 - Parvati booted Ozzy (assist Cirie) ep11 - Natalie booted Jason ep12 - Amanda idoled Alexis (assist Parv) ep13 - Cirie booted Erik (assist Natalie) People democratic starring of the spotlight. Eeach of the Fave women has saved the others and contribted to their success. But Parv's game-changing Ozzy boot while trump the others and win fan votes (if Natalie goes next). |

Oowatanite wrote: Of course they're interesting, cos they're the first ones posted... I did think Cirie was P and Amanda was N, and both the others M. I think
everyone actually had tone this episode, which seems odd compared to now most of everyone else here saying this was a fairly toneless episode. I'll
probably change most of my ratings (and I think Amanda might be a 4 in visibility, she talked a lot at TC and none of that was counted on the chart, unless
I'm wrong Warrior?).

AMAI:The eds have us just where they wants us, then. ;-) An ep so good, I watched it again. Don't, as a rule, do that. Parvati was pretty UTR this ep, but she had good lines in the Black Widow meeting and at TC. Not the stand-out,this-eps-all-about you lines, but nothing to hurt her. This ep was all about the women spinning their webs and trapping another dumb guy. It was Parvati who told us two eps ago, that they were going to spin the men around and around until they didn't know where they were going. Which was exactly this ep's theme. It was about all the women outsmarting another man and creating the first all-woman F-4. There was no bad ed for any of the women this week. And yes Eric is completely N, maybe OTTNN and I don't like double tone ratings! The Black Widows told us on the beach that Eric was a scuz for playing all of them. So N for sleeze and N for stupid. "The dumbest player in Survivor history, ever!" That's a pretty NN statement. Parvati is completely in the background. Just where the winner should be. Anyone doubting that are watching this thing one ep at a time and the eds will get you every time that way. |

Erik inaugurates the OMGWTF rating. I reckon he should get a 5 visibility, with an MM Tone.

"I don't really need to look for the idol." What's that all about? She would have had that little moment of at-risk without that quote. Not just a low-key, background edit, but an arrogant, foolish move edit as well. There was no negative tone for Parvati here. She did NOT need the idol, and correctly trusted her girls. All that mattered was that Erk not be immune. Parv was cool to agree to be exiled as part of the plan while Amanda want on reward. She's a trooper, didn't whine, and managed to enjoy the situation. Remember when Parv stuck it out for 6+ hours to deny Jason immunity while Cirie quit for candy and Amanda had to pee? That immunity was far more stategically significant than getting the idol tonight, and yet people wouldn't give Parv any positive tone credit or Cirie any negative tone credit then. Erik (Macellas II) - OTTM5 Cirie - CP4 or CPP4 Amanda - CP3 or MOR3 Natalie - MORN3 (most negative women, she made some bitchy comments, don't believe in C's plan at first) Parvati - UTR2 or MOR2 I felt the editing of Erik as (1) a chronic liar and (2) the jury joining in on the fun, took away all the N from the girls. The girls laughed, the jury laughed, the universe laughed at Erik's bonehead play.

craig, I agree (see 2 posts above).
Eric has to get an N. He was called on his serial betrayals as well as making a seriously not-positive move at TC. craig:Is that not N? Does saying "Oh you girls!" neutralize it all? mm, maybe. But, he did make deals, however lame, to boot Amanda and Natalie. He was derided before TC for being such a turncoat and backstabber. Does he get a simple OTT for being such a puppy? I'll say again, maybe. But, you can bet that he'd be seen as N by the jury if he'd kept the idol.
