It's interesting, but this is the second work that I know of (the first being Kill Bill vol. 1) that explores killers who witnessed the murders of their
parents when they were kids. I wonder if any of that is valid?

I bet you could do some research on Google and find out. Probably is.

Yeah some eps can be slow to load depending on the time of day. I think most of them come from China so the hours that they are the most server heavy take
longer. I would just start the ep, pause it and go do something else for a half an hour and come back to it when it was done loading.

yay smits! i love that dude. bonus for the show "dexter".
showtime has been advertising that they are going to run seasons one and two, a "new" (ummm... you know. from the beginning. contiguous. you know...) ep each week, leading up to the start of season three. 12 + 12 = 24. so whenever showtime starts this we will be 24 weeks away from the start of season three. and i will be there for each ep... |

I'm not watching season 1 again, I just finished watching it in reruns.
As for Jimmy Smits, I don't like him. I don't know why. Hopefully he's a bad guy and I'll only have to endure him for one season. |

What's the Vegas line on whether he's going to hook up with Deb or LaGuerta?

Matthews (I think that's his name) and promote her.

yeah, she needs her 'Gabriel' to grieve for Doakes and work out her issues
FUCK, I can't believe I stayed up this late/early to finish season 2 but the end of episode 11 made me HAVE to watch and find out how it all turned out. Brilliant, fantastic, amazing (more positive adjectives can continue to be added at the reader's discretion) and certainly one of, if not THE best show on TV (haven't seen the wire or BSG, but i'm workin on it ok!) August 19 for the DVD, and it'd be awesome if they put out a Blu-ray since there's such a vivid sense to all the images that seems to really touch a nerve when watching this show. Just picturing that cabin I end up imagining the smells, feeling the heat, hearing the bugs...plus HD blood spatter! Downside: Lila-titties and Deb-ass in high-def *shudder* I like Deb the character, but I agree the actress has some mind-bogglingly irritating tics that are impossible to ignore. During her confrontation with Lila, she had such a square jaw, but her mouth was doing that weird sideways-tilt thing and it made her sound really lispy and odd. I read something a few pages back about Rita should be mad at Dexter for putting her kids in danger...as far as she knew, Dexter was done with Lila and this was just the crazy actions of a psycho ex-gofo trying to get back at the people he truly cares about, so I don't fault Rita for not going beserko on him. We all know, aside from his strayed fidelities, that Rita and the kids see Dexter as their shining white knight. I think that's the great irony of their relationship is that (before all the BHB business) he's been this amazing father figure for the kids and a decent boyfriend to Rita, but little do they know what dear Dexter does in the dark...and I think for them and Deb, he was never going to turn himself in. He saw how Rudy's reveal crushed Deb, imagine if "her rock" turned out to be the most notorious serial killer in Miami? Both women would be far worse off without Dex in their lives. rest now...can't hardly wait for september 30th! |

Sept 30 was the premiere for season two, it's not on a sunday so I don't think it's the premiere date for season 3, I think the premiere is the
28th.

ah, ok. I just saw a promo poster a few pages back that said "season premiere september 30th" but I guess it was a season 2 one. I love those blood
spattered pics of Michael C. Hall with the cheery grin on his face!
I read EW's TV critics' Emmy nom suggestions and the ONLY mention of Dexter was for a supporting actress nod to go to...Jennifer Carpenter |

extra tasty wrote: For what it's worth, this year will likely result in the least oversight in terms of nominees. With so many stellar performances this season, I fully
expect Dexter and Michael C. Hall to be nominated for an Emmy, if not to WIN them. Erik King will likely be an undeserved snub.

Network television dramas should now be barred from Emmy consideration. 97% of them are shitty procedurals while the serials (LOST, Heroes, 24) all have long
turned into fecal matter. So irritating to see The Wire or Dexter snubbed for fucking House or Boston Legal.
