Can she beat out Cook or Devil Child, hell no, but the fact that she even has a chance is mindboggling. Cinderella story indeed.

I took a lot of s**t from people here for being a Syesha fan, and I'm very happy to have been proven right about her. But in my wildest hopes I didn't think she would actually get all the way to 3rd (?) place this season! I have been a big defender of Syesha all along, however, I don't know that I agree that she has improved. She has improved comparatively and in the standings only because so many of the others have screwed the pooch. She has really been quite steady and consistent, but she's hardly leagues better now than she was at the beginning...

I think Syesha has been good all along but she was being overshadowed by bigger "favorites" by the judges... I don't think the judges ever intended for her to make it this far but she's defintely been consistent the whole competition... the last three weeks she has stepped her up performances and really pulled out all the stops, probably figuring it didn't matter at that point she might as well have a blast... the funny thing is, people have sat up and taken notice finally that this girl is actually one of the best they had this season. She's got a snowballs chance in hell of making the F2 but damn if she could that would be amazing!

The big difference is that the gays didn't jump on her bandwagon the way the did with Kim... I still say that if Syesha had been fat instead of hot, she would have been a favorite... (p.s., that's not to say that I think she's as GOOD as Kimberley. I do not. Kimberley is a much better singer.)
