Jeff Probst's Comments about the Castaways

JEFF PROBST: The Samburu Tribe, always wearing red, seems like they will have more strategy compared to the Boran Tribe. Between the two tribes they appear weaker mainly due to the women, but I think they will be the tribe to pull it together and have a shelter and fire within the first day. (The camera cuts off of Jeff and focuses on Hayley Williams as she points at a piece of wood, Tyson Beckford lifts the block of wood up and sets it inside their shelter.) As a tribe, I see them dominating in the challenges if they work together and trust each other. But, I think with people like Sarah and Tisha around that there will be multiple alliances (Tisha Campbell is shown laughing with Tyson), so whenever this tribe goes to Tribal Council, one of them is due to be blindsided.

Jeff Probst on TISHA CAMPBELL: Tisha was one of the four people that we really wanted to have on the show. It took her a few days to return our call and everyone was on board to have her on the show. We were excited because she has beautiful, wife of the family persona but we've seen her outside of her television personality and she is raw and has a very in-your-face stubborn personality. She seems to be the biggest diva out of the ten castaways and reminds me a lot of Sandra Diaz-Twine from Survivor: Pearl Islands. Tisha is bound to be horrible in challenges, but if she networks with the correct people on her tribe I can see her making merge, but I can't really see her lasting the entire time. It's clear that she has a close bond with Marlon Wayans and that is going to break one of their games. No one wants to play a game where two of the people have Thanksgiving together!

Jeff Probst on SARAH SILVERMAN: Sarah Silverman didn't hesitate to join the game. She was excited and ready to take on everything the game has to offer. She came into one of the final interviews wearing just a coconut bikini bra and a previous Survivor buff and from that instant we knew she was dedicated to do just about anything to get on the show. Unfortunately for Sarah I think she was put on a tribe with people who she really won't get along with. She's with an adult film star, a model, an actor, and Lacey Chabert. I can't picture Sarah being voted off first, but on the tribe she's on I can't see her lasting long. Sarah will definitely be playing the game the moment she sets foot on land, but I think she's going to overplay herself and get tossed out of the game.

Jeff Probst on HAYLEY WILLIAMS: She (Hayley) was actually one of the alternates for the show. We originally had Anna Faris (Star of the Scary Movie series) but she dropped out at the last minute. Thankfully, Hayley was on call and was happy to be a finalist in the game. I like Hayley a lot, she's a really nice girl, but I think she won't attempt at playing the game and will just fly under the radar until it's her time to go. It's only day two and it's noticeable that she's a good worker around camp and it appears like she gets along with her tribe, but that's probably all she needs to maintain a jury spot. I can really see her being the next Lydia Morales (See Survivor Guatemala). She's going to work really hard, but perform poorly in the challenges, and just somehow slide by because people will forget about her. She's the youngest cast member so she will probably already have a fan base on the fact that she's one of the more well known celebrities we have, but I don't see her strategizing to further herself in the game. She's going to just sit by and wait until it's her turn to go.

Jeff Probst on TYSON BECKFORD: It's clear that Tyson is going to go far in the game, but I can definitely see him making a blunder like James Clement from Survivor: China. Physically, he's the strongest guy in the game, which is funny because he's the second oldest! He has a lot of charisma and confidence, but in the game of Survivor it's proven that you should never be confident because there is a slight chance that you will be the one getting the boot. Tyson has been through a similar show (I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!) so he already knows the elements he has to go through, but America isn't voting this time. If he can network his way throughout the merge, he could be a lock for the final two, but I think his chances of winning are slim to none.

Jeff Probst on JEFF PALMER: Jeff was so enthusiastic to come onto the show that he actually heard we were casting and auditioned! He practically begged us to give him a spot and even went so far as to not shower for a week to show his dedication. Putting Jeff on the show was a worry though, his reputation is pretty raw- come on the guy is a porn star and it's rumored that he is HIV positive! I think that Jeff is going to be very misunderstood by some members of his tribe and personally I think he'll have a close relationship with Sarah. I can't even imagine Jeff winning this game, he just won't connect with the other castaways. To be honest, Jeff will probably be the first person voted off of his tribe. If a miracle comes upon him and he stays, he could be the biggest underdog of the series, or just the luckiest.

Jeff Probst on VIN DIESEL: We were very paranoid about having Vin come onto the show because we know he's a nice guy, but we also know he has a temper. For entertainment reasons, I think he'll be good to watch, but he probably won't even make a single move in the game to try and win it. I think he knows he won't win either, so to Vin, this is just a vacation until he is voted off. In my eyes, I saw him as a rat just looking to cause some drama and ruin other people's games while he's still in there. If he can not get caught, I think we can see Vin in the final seven, making him a juror, but I just can't see him making it halfway through the game. His attitude and strength are going to get him. No one wants to go into the final endurance challenge against a bodybuilder.

JEFF PROBST: The tribe we will always see wearing yellow is called Boran. (Dick Donato is shown teasing Mandy Lynn and imitating her. She playfully laughs along with him as Schatar Taylor stands near by with her arms folded.) These six people are unbelievably dramatic and ignorant. Never have I thought that within the first day, two days, that there could be so much animosity between a small group of people. We've already seen a ruthless cat-fight and it's even worse when a guy stands in front of a woman and ruthlessly defends her- by picking on another woman! It's outrageous. I think this tribe is doomed to fall apart and I personally can't see any of them winning, nor do I want to see any of them win at this point.

Jeff Probst on SCHATAR TAYLOR: Schatar is definitely one who stirs the pot without even recognizing she's doing it. She thinks she is the most successful person on her tribe and is open about taking a dig at Mandy Lynn, Dick, and Tom for not being worthy of being in the game as a celebrity. She's sitting on a high horse but I don't think she realizes that in this game people vote each other off and if she continues to belittle her tribe mates, she'll be out of the game quicker than she thought. If Schatar buckles down her attitude and she hasn't done too much damage, I can see her winning this game. She's beautiful, intelligent, and determined. If anyone can manipulate an entire cast of people, it's her. This game is Schatar 's to loose.

Jeff Probst on MANDY LYNN: Good ole' Mandy Lynn! We fell in love with her on VH1's America's Most Smartest Model and I was very happy to see her in Africa. She walks around naked with a smile on her face the whole time and is constantly making a joke. She has a personality where at first glance you want to hate her and insult her, but she engages you into a conversation and you soon just fall for her goofy humor. It's obvious she's going to flirt a little bit to get through to some of the men. After she does that I firmly believe she'll be the leader of an alliance that could very well carry her to the end of the game. Don't count Mandy out yet on being another under the radar beauty, she has game and we are bound to see it.

Jeff Probst on KRIS JENNER: (Laughing) Do I think she will do well in the game? Not a chance in hell. She likes the camera and will play up for it, and she will think she's the beauty of her tribe and become an annoyance. Luckily for Kris, she's on a tribe with people who the public don't really know as celebrities, but reality stars. She's with people such as Mandy Lynn, Dick, and Schatar who could be possible threats and go before her, but she's going to be trying to create herself into situations where she gets attention so she can do a crazy antic. We don't have any tattoo parlors in Africa, or chicken farms, or any of her daughters- so Kris will not do well in this game. Her time in the game, however, will without a doubt be memorable.

Jeff Probst on TOM ANDERSON: Tom! Tom is the winner. I'm calling it right now. He is going to socialize throughout this game and hell, he could even threaten to delete a Myspace or two if they vote for him! I honestly can see Tom fitting in with anyone on his tribe because to them, he is famous, but to the folks who have actually worked hard to get where they are- there is going to be some jealousy. He's our youngest man of the season and that will be an advantage to him. He seems like a true manipulator and this guy is going to shine throughout the entire season. Move over Brian Heidik (Survivor: Thailand) because this guy is going to replace your spot as a mastermind.

Jeff Probst on DICK DONATO: Personally, I hate Dick. I can't even stand to look at the guy and now I have to try and be unbiased to respect him. We can all expect Dick to act the same, possibly more immature. He's going to complain the entire time, he'll latch onto someone, protect them, and he'll act self-righteous. His antics are going to be crazy and unpredictable, to some people, but he'll continue to be the predictable Dick Donato picking his nose and verbally abusing his other tribe mates. I'd actually like to see him tackle Vin or Tyson from the other tribe and see how he mans up to them in his tight jeans and that ridiculous hair.

Jeff Probst on MARLON WAYANS: Marlon is going far in this game. His only downfall could be that people may know he has a close relationship with Tisha (Campbell) on the other tribe, so they may want him out pre-merge. But, I think that his charm and personality will make him a leader on his dysfunctional tribe. He is the one person who will be able to handle the craziness and actually have these guys in tip-top shape, keeping camp peaceful, and actually getting work done around camp. Marlon is a stand-up guy. My prediction for Marlon is that if he gets into the final five, he'll end up winning the game. His only time to worry, in my opinion, is probably when he meets up with Tisha.

JEFF PROBST: Now let's take a sneak peak at what's going to happen this season on Crush's Celebrity Survivor: AFRICA. We have our fair share of relationships:

(Mandy Lynn is shown sitting on Dick Donato's lap at Tribal Council)

JEFF PROBST: Mandy, you do know you have your own seat right?

MANDY: Why sit alone when you could have the best seat in the house? (Dick smiles and snuggles Mandy into his arms, throwing her around.)

DICK CONFESSIONAL: Mandy Lynn is the only girl here that is attractive, so I'll play along and flirt with her. She trusts me a lot, and she really shouldn't. If given the opportunity, I'd screw her over. I'm not here with my daughter anymore, I don't have any limitations and I don't want to be held down. Mandy thinks I'm with her and I'm not. She's dead weight to the tribe and she's nothing to me.

MANDY CONFESSIONAL: Dick is like, the ultimate mastermind of this game. He's so smart! (Giggles) That douche bag will never see me coming at him. You know what they say, right, your enemies gotta be closer than your friends...or whatever.

SARAH SILVERMAN: I have no friends here, everyone on my tribe just- they aren't like me- they aren't- perfect. I want an apprentice, I want a person to mold into my little solider who would just jump whenever I tell them. I want that person every girl wants, I just want a submissive bitch!

(Hayley Williams walks past Sarah who is eating beans out of a can)

SARAH: Hayley, what kind of music do you listen too?

HAYLEY: Everything! Spice Girls, Duran Duran, Lil' Kim, ...myself! Anything!

SARAH: (Laughing) It's funny you say that Hayley, because this could just be like, love.

HAYLEY: (Laughing) Wh-what are you talking about?

SARAH: Come here child, (pats the ground next to her) let us talk till the century ends.

(Jeff Palmer is crying in Vin Diesel's lap)

JEFF: I know I lost that challenge for everyone.

VIN: Don't even worry about it.

JEFF: It's going to be me tonight, I know it. No one has even talked to me in two days, Vin! I can't stand it here- I don't want to see any of these people ever again in my life.

VIN: (Runs his fingers through Jeff's hair)

JEFF: (Raising his head from Vin's lap, wiping his %**!+) Alright, please don't turn me on. I'm trying to be serious here.

JEFF PROBST: Along with many of the friendships we view; we see betrayals and turned alliances.

MANDY: How can you say that! I would never back stab you, Dick!

DICK: Mandy Lynn, I cannot trust you anymore.

TOM: We've been aligned since day one, Mandy- you had to screw it up.

MANDY: It's day five! How the hell can an alliance change within four days! I wasn't ever going to write any of your names down!

DICK: You need to talk to Schatar because that's not what she's saying.

MANDY: Oh my God! Schatar! Where is that fat bitch.

SCHATAR CONFESSIONAL: I am quite aware everyone else on my team is aligned. I don't want to go home! Not yet, please, I need my fifteen minutes to be extended! It's time to shake things up and make sure that I'm not trampled over. (Waves "goodbye" to the camera)

TISHA: (Kneeling on the ground, whispering) It's time to turn on our own, Ty.

TYSON: Who?

TISHA: (Inaudible)

TYSON: She's too much of an easy target.

TISHA: I think she's going to be the one to break us up, I want to take you to the finals. (Hayley stumbles over to the two chatting. Tisha snaps her fingers and Tyson turns around, quickly shutting his mouth. Hayley throws her hands up in the air and stomps away in a temper tantrum.)

(A larger tribe arrives back to camp in the nighttime, an unidentified man calls Hayley's name)

HAYLEY: I can't stand any of you anymore! (Hayley creates loud noises and begins to tear the shelter apart)

TISHA: Hayley! The lions, the animals, Hayley stop this!

HAYLEY: Screw it! Screw it! (Tisha tries holding Hayley's arms down) Why her! Why! There wasn't any good reason! (Hayley collapses to the ground and begins to scream)

TISHA: Hayley! Calm down!

HAYLEY: Just....ju-

TOM: Okay, someone needs to get her help like, uhh, now.

HAYLEY: (Screaming) Just leave me alone!

TISHA CONFESSIONAL: That girl just lost her damn mind!

JEFF PROBST: The game takes on multiple changes that are sure to get everyone's emotions running wild.

(The camera shoots to the twelve castaways at Tribal Council)

JEFF PROBST: One difference we have made at Tribal Council, is that when you write down your vote- you must bring it back to your stool, and openly say who you voted for...and why. (Kris Jenner is shown crying and blowing a "farewell" kiss to Mandy Lynn.

JEFF PROBST: Alright, Boran- who are you going to send to Isolation?

SCHATAR: Mandy Lynn. (Blankly smiles)

JEFF PROBST: As a treat for the unfortunate soul going into Isolation, which would be you Mandy Lynn, come up here and read this for me.

MANDY: (Unravels a scroll with large writing in it) No- way. (Mandy grins back at Schatar and looks up at Jeff and hugs him) Can I read it out loud?
