I'm graduating with a BA in Political Science. My GPA is 3.88. I know I'll at least graduate cum laude. I may graduate magna, but they haven't set the cutoff yet. The GPA cutoff varies by year; it usually is between 3.87 and 3.89. And I'm starting law school in the fall. |

What type of law are you going to study? I know lots of unhappy lawyers, so pick your specialty wisely. I also know lots of wealthy lawyers, so the not being
poor thing will happen!

I'm mostly interested in social justice type things. Mainly immigration and asylum and GLBT issues. Not exactly money-making fields, but oh well.
I've also started to become interested in tax law since my job last summer and my job this summer deal primarily with property taxes. I want to keep my options open and wait to see what I really like. I started out college set on majoring in sociology. I took a political science course and loved it and hated my sociology classes. |
