No one has given the idol away to someone else after the votes are made, but before they are read yet. Maybe Eric (or someone else) does that and gets burned
when they could have been safe.

That has to be it. Eric shows everyone the idol and says he is obviously going to play it because it is F5 and he may as well. Nat or whoever is the target, so
after votes are cast, he gives it to them to save her but they all voted for Erik according to the plan. Erik gone. Or Erik chickens out at the last second and
whoever Erik voted for that doesn't have immunity necklace is gone.

Actually I was giving credit to the person trying to save themselves or it is a all-female plan. The targeted player tells Erik no one is going to vote for him
since they know he has the idol. So after votes are cast, give it to me and we control who goes home. Erik either follows through and goes home or chickens out
and the person he voted for goes home.

Thanks, Martrae. My mind was fine until I read this, now it's total gutter ... ;-) As for the idol, I think we're making this too hard somehow. I'm trying for KISS but this whole thing makes my brain hurt (when it isn't in the gutter). Another logical thing: if Erik is in the middle somehow, it probably means he wins immunity. Otherwise, why would they even care about his vote? I'm starting to go to the side of the Natalie goes this week camp, but that doesn't tell me anything about the idol, or the blunder. Sigh. And what about Naomi? |

Shoeless: I believe the HII has to be in your posession prior to TC. However if I am wrong (wouldn't be the first time) then that would be using the HII
in a way that has never been done before. There was also a clue that a new alliance was revealed.
As to the speculation that Eric tells everybody that he has the HII while (not so secretely) planning to give it to someone after the votes are made doesn't make sense. Why would the woman believe that he is going to follow through and still vote for him? Why wouldn't they simply vote for someone else? If he changes his mind then they have all wasted their vote and whoever he has voted for is the boot. I am tending to go along with Trixie on the boot however. I think that it will be Natalie. She had a high profile two weeks ago and definitely has a bit of a 'tude. Her comment about "being stupid" enough to believe that relating to a plot being cooked up makes me think that she is overly confident that she is going to stay. She may believe that she is "tight" with Cirie and counts on Eric to keep her in the game only to have Eric "stab her from the front" and so she will fall victim to a plan by Amanda/Pavarti. Who knows? Obviously I am getting myself confused. LOL |

I think in past seasons you had to give it to someone at camp with the production people there to witness the passing of the idol. This is a rule change for this season. |

I am tending to go along with Trixie on the boot however. I think that it will be NatalieTrix is using her Jedi mind tricks on us! So I'm trying to remember-has anyone ever given the idol, not the necklace, the *idol* to someone else? I don't think so. So that would be a way the idol is used that we've never seen before. |

Mookie gave the Hidden idol to Alex to play in Fiji, but they voted Edguardo (I don't even know if that's his name) instead once Dreamz told them Alex
was using it.

What if someone discovers Ozzy's hidden idol.. they don't think its real so they use it for levarage to get erik on there side.. Give it to erick tell
him who to vote for ... he votes for natalie everyone else votes for erik.. he pulls out the ozzy idol and Jeff imforms them that it is real and ericks votes
wont count. ... """"it was discovered not stolen ... so why cant it be used""""""". I just don't
think it is Erick going home. That wouldn't be a surprise or a blindside or anything.. if this tc is going to be the greatest it has got to be something
big..
