I'm alone for three days...what movies should I rent? |

Husband went on a three day field trip with my 11 year old son's class. So I have three days to myself. I want to rent some good movies, chick flicks,
and some kinda scary stuff that I can't watch with my kid around. But it can't be too scary, cause I am home alone.

Shallow Grave is a great movie. That's my suggestion for the scary(ish) category.

Yeah, I haven't seen superbad...I've heard great things about it.
Nomellons, I've not seen any of those chick flicks. Which are the top two? (Bear in mind I have simple (bad) tastes, as I really like movies like "You've got Mail" and "Sleepless in Seattle." |

 It's got Ewan McGregor. It's about 3 flatmates in England who rent a room to a guy... but then he dies and leaves a suitcase full of money.
Naturally, scary bad guys are looking for it -- it's really entertaining and has some great plot twists.

A chick flick along the lines of You've Got Mail -- Have you seen Music and Lyrics?
Out of the others I listed, it would be very hard to pick the top two but I'd go with Once and Lars and the Real Girl |

We rented No Country For Old Men and AVP2 last weekend. AVP2 SUCKED ASS. Don't get it.
