He has to be the most uninspired, unemotional singer I've ever seen.I disagree and I hate Castro. Emotion is the only thing he has going for him in regards to his performances. He can't sing and his emotional connection to songs is what has kept him here so long. If he seemed uninspired or unemotional tonight in particular it's probably because he wants to go home. Archuleta is the most uninspired, unemotional singer I've ever seen. |

I read the EW article too, and I don't think he wants to go home. I think he's trying to save face. He says in it that he is the weakest singer, and
tonight he was trying harder than ever- actually performing and not just sitting there. Too bad for him he still sucks.

I'm ashamed that I watched a few of his performances on youtube earlier because I was in the mood for some Castropwnage. Castro and pwnage
do.not.belong.in.the.same.sentence.

Castro and pwnage do.not.belong.in.the.same.sentence.Talent, hot, and amazing can easily be substituted for pwnage. He is just awful. I can't even use any superlatives with his performances, they were just awful. |

I sort of love him for singing I Shot the Sheriff. Don't get me wrong, he still sucks donkey balls, but he sang I Shot the Sheriff on American Idol.

Much as I'd love to see somone make Ryan and the judges look like tools by refusing to sing after they were voted off, flipping them the bird and then
angrily walking offstage, that wonderful rock n' roll type approach would really work only if someone was UNJUSTIFIABLY voted off the show. A Jason boot
tonight, coming at least two weeks late and after 5 horrible performances by him in a row, would just make Jason look like an ass. Brooke should have done it
last week, though. Turning her back on the audience instead was lame.

Castro reminds me of my stoner suitemates from college in the early 90s. They spent all day every day baked and thinking everything was "cool" and
giggled at everything. My personal favorite Castro moment was during Andrew Lloyd Weber night.."I totally didn't know Memory was sung by a cat."

Now Jason....whether people think he deserves to go or not - hope he does something unprecedented. Maybe he could light up a joint. Or light up the joint (anything near Paula's spiked cola cup will easily catch fire). Booze and hairspray ain't your friends now, huh, Paula.

I think he just smoked an extra joint. The whole time the judges were criticizing him, he just laughed and laughed and laughed. I was waiting for him to take out a bag of chips and start munching while they bashed him. |
