Cook's second performance was incredible...
Should Go...Jason! I Want to Go...Jason! Will Go...Syesha...which isn't right...but the asshole Jason fans will still vote, even though he wants to go home. |

1. Archuleta - Love Me Tender - best performance from him since Imagine
2. Syesha - Change Is Gonna Come 3. Cook - Baba O'Riley - passable even though he once again phoned it in 4. Archuleta - Stand By Me - good except for the ending 5. Jason - I Shot the Sheriff 6. Syesha - Proud Mary 7. Jason - Mr. Tambourine Man - not even trying 8. David Cook - Hungry Like the Wolf - some of the laziest, most generic pabulum ever on this show |

Brain: Jason Heart: Archfucktard Gut: Castro And for all you fucks saying Jason wants to go so let him. Just how often do you talk to him? Don't quote that article, you say you know he wants out, tell me how you know. Tonight he was animated, in a great mood and I think he was trying to show us he doesn't want out yet. I gave the little princess use of one phone for her votes for him. |

1 - 9/10 - A Change Is Gonna Come - Syesha2 - Blew me away. I cannot in good faith say it was better than "Billie Jean" as the best song of the
season, but I will say it is tied with it. Just amazing and I was shocked by Randy's criticism of it. And I say all of this as a non-fan of Syesha. She has
really, really upped her game this week. Plus she looked amazing.
2 - 9/10 - Proud Mary - Syesha1 - I thought this would be the best song of the night before Syesha blew me away yet again on her second one. This one doesn't approach "Billie Jean" or "A Change Is Gonna Come" as the best song of the season, but it's definitely up there in the top group. Where did this personality she's showing all the sudden come from? It reminds me of Latoya London singing "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You" and all the sudden dancing around the stage which was so different from the kind of performances she'd given before that, though I thought this performance of Syesha's was much better than Latoya's performance of that. 3 - 8/10 - I Shot The Sheriff - Jason1 - Loved it. His most energetic performance to date. 4 - 8/10 - Baba O'Riley - David C.2 - David C. has been boring me the past weeks but he brought back a little of his former magic tonight with this song. It didn't blow me away like some of his others have done, but better than he's done recently. 5 - 8/10 - Love Me Tender - David A.2 - I don't really like this song at all, but I really liked his slow and almost haunting arrangement of it. As usual, great vocals. His second best song of the competition, only behind "Imagine". 6 - 8/10 - Stand By Me - David A.1 - Safe choice but great vocals. 7 - 7/10 - Hungry Like A Wolf - David C.1 - I like this song and thought he'd do better than he did. He still did good, but I just wasn't wowed. 8 - 6/10 - Mr. Tambourine Man - Jason2 - I thought it was very good, and if there were any bombs tonight this wouldn't be last. If he hadn't forgotten the words it'd be an 8/10, but that part of the song was so uncomfortable that it really scars it. But beside that, a lovely performance. Overall - If you had told me any week before this one that Syesha would be in the F4 and that I'd rank BOTH of her songs better than the other finalists, I would've laughed. But hell has frozen over. She has been drinking the magic juice or something, I don't know, but whatever she's doing it's working. And one more thing I love about her is that we all know she has no chance of winning, yet she really still seems to earnestly believe she has a shot. I love that. I thought the judges were pretty much completely wrong on Jason. David A. has given his best performances in weeks and weeks tonight. Stand By Me was very safe (as always for him) but still good, and on the surface Love Me Tender was safe too. But even though I'm definitely not a fan of his, I loved the arrangement he used on Love Me Tender, and it slightly reminded of his great "Imagine". David C. has been in a slump for weeks in my opinion. He's still great, but his performances are missing the spark a lot of his earlier performances had. Baba O'Riley had more of a flicker of a spark than any of his other recent performances, but still was not a "Billie Jean" or even an "Always Be My Baby".

I can't believe I thought I Shot the Sheriff would be good for Castro. (Well, it's good if it knocks him out.)
1 - Syesha 2 (was Randy at the same show as the rest of the audience?) 2 - Archtard 1 (at least Randy was right in his pimping of him this time) 3 - Cook 2 (loved it - left me wanting more, which may have prejudiced my vote) GAP 4 - Syesha 1 (an imitation of Beyonce doing Tina Turner) 5 - Cook 1 (seriously, Hungry Like the Wolf?) 6 - Archtard 2 (sorry, it was beautifully sung but I was so bored I fell asleep - did it end?) CAVERNOUS GAP 7 - Castro 2 (if he hadn't forgotten the lyrics, he'd still be #7, but it was a pleasant rendition otherwise) 8 - Castro 1 (holy "shot" it was beyond awful) Brain: Castro, Syesha (Syesah goes because she's been bottom 2-3 almost every week and never built a fan base until it was too late) Heart: Castro, Archtard (get rid of Castro NOW) Gut: Syesha, Cook (because his fans might be too complacent - Daughtry, Tamyra, LaToya) with Syesha leaving |

2. Syesha #1 3. Cook #2 4. Cook #1 5. Jason #1 6. Archuleta #1 7. Jason #2 8. Archuleta #2 Yeah, Jason forgot the lyrics, but it was tolerable. I've never seen a more off-key and sharp performance than Archuleta's "Love Me Tender". Loved the failed attempt at a falsetto note. |

I didn't watch tonight's performances, but in any event, here's my rating:
01) Screamesha (Who would have thought? She still cannot hold a candle to the other Idol divas of yore, but even after six visits to the danger zone [Jade on ANTM was never in THAT much danger], she is still in the running.) 02) Pothead (Of the remaining four finalists, I like him the best as a person.) 03) Starsearchuleta (Groan.) 04) Daughtry 2: Electric Bugaloo (Just. Go. Away. Forever.) Hopefully, Screamesha and Pothead survive this week, and the two Davids end up in the danger zone. |

Wtf. You didn't watch but you can rate performances? Based on what? You know what Alex? You can be gay and still like non-divas, non-broadway,
non-bitchesohnoyoudidn't. Seriously, it's okay to like a straight male performer once in a while and still be considered a card-carrying gay male.
Try it. It'll make it easier for you to play with the rest of us straight, homosexual, bi or sexually confused posters.
