My husband is turning 46 this summer and we've started getting some scary stuff in the mail. Yesterday we got a brochure for a retirement community.
Isn't it a little early to be thinking about that?

My grandchildren are not helping me maintain my self-image as a woman in her prime ... especially when they drive over to see me. Ditto on the music - so much
of it sucks. I am now annoyed by some movies' sound tracks. That's old.

My oldest daughter will be 32 years old next month. That makes me feel old just thinking about it. She is in a panic thinking that 32 is old.

Over the weekend, my son and I were watching some old movie and someone had to get up and change the channels on the TV -- it was a key development in the
stupid movie. I had to pause the movie and explain to him how TVs used to have knobs with channel numbers and UHF and VHF. He just laughed and told me I was
ancient.
