It's definitely shadow probably caused by her protuding cheekbones - but it's still odd.

Ok, now for my rant. My problem with the size-0/2 model vs. the plus size model is that a bunch of what I would consider to be pretty common healthy sizes (4s, 6s, 8s) are completely ignored. Tyra is one of the only "real" size models out there (she was an 8, I think).

And beyond the common health/image arguments against using skinny women to model high fashion, there's a very simple one: it's simply LAZY.

I know how to sew, I admit I used to make fitted dresses for my Barbies when I was younger (shut up, don't make fun - and I'm female, just so you know), and Barbie is actually a challenge to design for - she's totally disproportionate, and she does have curves (omg those boobies were so hard to get around). In contrast, creating something to slip over a flat board is fucking easy.
