Well I would say that Natalie has already "been there, done that" when it comes to convincing someone (Jason) that he didn't need the HII. Maybe
this time they throw out Amanda as bait, i.e. cheese. (after all he was in on the plan to try and vote her out already).
Say Eric has the HII. Amanda goes to him and makes the argument that he "owes" her and it is only fair that the two strongest competitors face off in the final, etc. She asks him to give her the HII saying that it is obvious that she is the target. She and Pavarti convince Eric that he is not the target that the women are all targeting each other and they make a promise to take Eric to the end. Eric gives Amanda the HII and the women all turn around and vote out Eric. It would be a first in survivor history if someone plays the HII two weeks in a row and if would be the first time in Survivor history that in three different instances someone who had the HII was voted out because they use it to save themselves. Purely spec. |

This is just my opinion, but I think Erik gives immunity away thinking he is safe. I think he gives immunity to Natalie trying to save her, and instead gets himself booted. That is the only way a predictable boot because shocking. It also fits in with someone making an even stupider move this season. |

The Probst Preview is out. Here's what he says:
Now, the funny thing about this is, the idol is supposed to be dead. Theoretically, once it's played successfully, it's not hidden again. Or at least, that's my understanding, right? Anyway, based on this preview, it sounds to me like the girls make another fake immunity idol, and somehow convince Erik not only that it's real, but that it's somehow in his best interest to give up the immunity necklace for this fake idol. Also, the video for the preview shows the immunity necklace on a post, with Erik sitting in the background looking at it.
...which perhaps implies that he wins. |

I meant when Cirie, Nat and Parvati were tallking and Nat said, "who would fall for that." or what ever it was.

Update to the above: Someone came up with an intriguing idea on MESS. They suggested that one of the girls finds Ozzy's old HII and convinces Erik
that's it's a new idol that can still be played. (Perhaps one of them goes to Exile Island and says they found it there.) So Erik wins immunity, but
one of them convinces Erik to give up the necklace in exchange for this old, no longer usable, HII. This would completely fit with what Probst said about
something happening with an immunity idol that's never happened before. And if it happens, it would be one of the most hilarious and ingenious things ever
done on Survivor. PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE!!! : )

Even when the ICs favour strong guys, ingenious women can outwit, lol.
This could be the Survivor equivalent to Danielle convicing Marcellas not to use the veto at F5 in BB3. |

AnomyBC wrote: What I dont get it is why Erik would give up immunity, even if this does happen and he's convinced there's another idol in play. The next most
threatening person in the game is Amanda....so if she has the Ozzy idol, why wouldnt Erik just tell her to keep it and she can blindside someone again like
last time. If one of the other three girls has the idol....just make them play it anyway since at F5 it would be the last possible chance to use an idol, and
then Amanda (or whomever else) goes home. I just dont understand why Erik would give up the necklace for anything.
If they plant another idol on Exile, that would piss me off. They already have one opportunity each time to win immunity, and there have already been 3 HIIs.....The entire game since Eliza's boot has revolved around the HII. Ozzy was targeted because he had it, Jason was targeted because he had it (granted, if they kept their mouths shut about having the idol and actually played it, the game would be a lot different) and now Amanda found it and took someone else out with it. The rest of this game should be decided on alliances and strategy, not who can find a 4th HII and use it properly. |

If Amanda doesn't win | ||
It'd be nice to see Erik win if she doesn't.
It's amazing he's even still there & he's great in challenges. Does anyone else have any hair appreciation for him? He's got nicer hair
than any of the women even. Almost always looks like he walked out of a beauty salon. Thought Ozzy had the nicest curly hair of all Survivors. I jsut
can't get over how great his hair looks to be deserted on an island & have it be dirty & all.

Yea, Erik does have great hair. He's played really well. I hope he made it to at least the final four. I hope he doesn't chop it before the
reunion. That's his trademark he's gotta keep it long and flowy.

Ha ha.There's no way Erik would give up the immunity necklace. How would they even go about trying to convince him that a fake idol is better for him than
the necklace? Any attempt would be too fishy and he's not that stupid

You've still got the problem that if someone just sees any old idol laying around, it doesn't belong to them. So there would have to be some sort of
story that the game includes another idol hidden in camp. That sort of story would normally come from Probst or tree mail or something.
The only way I can think of to make that work would be if someone comes back from exile and says that the last clue said the idol was hidden in <rat trap bait location>. |

The story could come from Amanda, the most recent EI returnee. Since the idol she DID produce and use successfully at TC last week was found at camp, she might
be able to sell Erik on the idea that (a) the clue indicated there were two idols at camp and VOILA, here's this OTHER idol.

In the Jeff Probst preview Jeff says, that the idol will come in to play once again. In the same time they show Erik at camp looking the
immunity necklace. Which idol is the idol Jeff was referring to, or is it even known?
In SF's boot sheet everybody else is safe, except Erik, but Erik is only Vulnerable, not very vulnerable. There is still a chance, that Erik won't be going in this week's episode.
