Ellen invited Michael and Carly to do a duet on the special episode of her show she taped in Chicago. I believe they taped the episode on Saturday and it will air tomorrow (Tuesday May 6th). I heard about them doing the duet on Ellen a couple of days ago but now that it's been taped there are details. So tune in to Ellen tomorrow afternoon if you liked Michael and/or Carly to see their performances.

The first thing I said when I saw the picture was wtf @ her outfit. She wore fug ass outfits on the show but that dress takes the cake for the ugliest piece of shit I've ever seen a human being wear.

She was starting to wear cuter, more form-fitting clothes the last few weeks before she got voted off that showed she had a nice figure. Glad to see this is on tomorrow. I saw this thread earlier and thought I missed it today. Gotta set the DVR.

So I just finished watching, you have to wait through the entire show to see them, they're the closing act for the special in Chicago. "One" was pretty good, they both sounded good. Michael was looking fine too, Carly not so much as you can all see from the picture. I enjoyed it. Their second song however barely got shown. Urgh, the live audience got to see it but the show ended and you just get to see the very beginning of their duet on "Hold On, I'm Coming." From the sound of the beginning it sounds like it was fucking awesome too. I wish they showed the whole thing.

"Hold On, I'm Coming" sounded really really good from the beginning, Michael's voice on it was just wow. "One" you can just catch on YouTube. Michael's funny though, he really does tell cheesy, fun jokes. Ellen was like "you guys are the new Captain and Tenille" and Michael was like "we're Captain and McNeil, pointing to Carly." It was so cheesy but it made me laugh. No wonder people were so upset when he left.

It was a neat opportunity to compare their voices, though. Johns has very controlled, effortlessly powerful, smooth vocals - loved his singing at the beginning, but it got ruined by Carly's strained, metallic "aaahs" (sorry Carly fans - just my personal taste).
