But I guess you get away with whatever you can. 1) most of those stations have 6+ stations and you only need 5 so it's trickier to hog the stations and make someone lose cause there should always be one free 2) Joel did the same thing and tried to intervene, the puzzle portion is usually about communication

Still, I don't think production intended great stalling. I also remember that the Drake torch went out and didn't Jeff say the torch had to stay lit? I think in the commentarp Sandra said it went out and Jeff just told them to keep going...

I don't recall that ever being the case. It's happened before. In Africa, there were seven stations, but only five answers were needed to win.

There were five people, you only needed 5 charms to win, and there were six stations.

Well something like that kind of happened. Twila was about to leave a station that Julie was waiting to go into, and once Twila saw that Julie was waiting to come in, she turned right back around, went into the station, and scrambled the puzzle pieces.

I saw most of them putting the puzzle together everytime so I think Twila just forgot to scramble the puzzle

Oh, sure...this has happened a lot, most recently on the "Great Wall of China" reward that was "won" by Courtney, only because other people shot her squares (though probably not intentionally). Didn't Denise win that because Courtney had about 50 arrows and gave it to her? Thus causing Denise to not repay PG for two rewards in a row?

But I guess you get away with whatever you can. In that case, Eliza wasn't the "specific puzzle-solver, since obviously she wasn't even touching the pieces. She was the one who got a bird-s eye view, but the others could still have input. There HAVE been some challenges where designated "puzzle-solvers" did the puzzle and the others were not allowed to help but that wasn't one of them, just by the design. Didn't Denise win that because Courtney had about 50 arrows and gave it to her? Thus causing Denise to not repay PG for two rewards in a row? Ah, you're right, Denise...but the principle is the same--someone "won" due to the actions of someone else.

From the diggings and slack rope it looked as if the puzzle pieces weren't directly under where the ropes matched up, so I think you'd do just as good eyeballing it, and it would save a ton of time. But it'd be a bigger risk if you lost your spot because you have a higher chance of being off. I found it interesting that Parvati was allowed to talk to Cirie during the trivia RC. Seems like they could just feed each other answers...

Or as in the case of this IC, just have all three of them work on one person's ropes--three times as fast to dig, etc. I found it interesting that Parvati was allowed to talk to Cirie during the trivia RC. Seems like they could just feed each other answers... I guess that's one reason they did it as an RC instead of an IC; people generally don't want to lose and RC and there is not so much strategy to preventing someone else from winning it (or as we saw tonight, winning it actually was the beginning of the end!)
