Ausiello says he got the news from series creator Jenny Bicks, who is quoted as saying, ''I wish the show had not been moved six times and put onto two long hiatuses. No show could survive that.'' Trees, which stars Anne Heche as a relationship coach who has relocated to Alaska, returns with its final run of episodes on May 28. Ausiello reports that Bicks prepared for a possible cancellation by shooting a series finale that will now be tacked onto the season's last episode, which airs this summer. (TV Guide)

Like the guy said in the interview - moved six times and two long hiatuses. What kind of ratings did ABC expect? At least they were able to film a series finale. Fuck you ABC!
