Are we allowed to comment now without spoiler tags?? (Thanks, btw, for those who did comment with spoiler tags). I'll try to be vague in my comments. I was pretty fine about the boot. The general suckiness of the photos surprised me. Maybe it's just hard to concentrate when you have water spraying in your face and Napoleon Perdis yelling critiques at you. There sure was a lot of blinking . . . Rebecca was my favorite and I'm pleased she was called first! Leiden surprised me this epi with a weird emotional range. Maybe she's bipolar or something. Good TV I suppose. As is making out with someone on public TV when you have a boyfriend. Really smart cheating strategy . . . |

I think its been enough time that we can post without spoiler tags for this episode. I'm going to anyway.
I liked Kristy, but I can see why she was booted. Still, the pictures on a whole were absolutely dreadful. The only one that I sort of liked was Alexandra's (which I really hate to say too, because I can't stand her! ). Caris must leave. She's just not cutting it. Alamela can follow her.
I like Emma, but she can go as well.
At this point though, I am only rooting for Demelza. I think she takes great pictures (her picture wasn't as bad as they made it out to be). I also think that she is getting the winner's edit at this point. She's been shown to be "sweet" and I think they have tried to distance her as far away as they can from the "Bitchketeers" group. I've given up on Samantha. She's had two terrible pictures in a row (I think she has had the worst of both weeks). She looks fantastic in person, but she needs to step it up next week to justify lasting so long. This episode reminded me how much I hate Napoleon. He is always calling girls out for being "fake," but he is probably the fakest of all. He thinks he is so funny and witty even though he isn't. Ugh. Also, I thought it was funny when Alexandra was talking on the phone, the caption said "Alexandra's Boyfriend?"

As someone who doesn't watch the show and just came in this thread to look at the photos, I thought Demelza's, Samantha's, and Alexandra's were
the best this week. That's all. :)

Parrot, when you get a chance, watch season 3 on youtube. It's SOOOOOOO good, and even knowing the outcome will not spoil the season.
Aw, I feel like I have a love/hate thing with Napoleon. What I like and agree with is his effort to get the girls to speak their minds and be confident. I think his "fakeness" problem is with girls who try to be nice or give non-answers and don't tell us what they really think - self conscious wimps. However, often people who speak their mind end up coming across as fake (Whitney, Napoleon himself), On the other hand, if he was running the show like Tyra, Jay Manuel, or Janice, I think he would totally drive me nuts. I loved how Johdi was sad about having to eliminate someone - Tyra take note: THAT'S a real mentor! The only reason I can think of them not putting Demelza higher in the list was that her pic didn't reach the "potential" of what Napoleon thought she had and was trying to get out of her - I suspect if he hadn't been judging, that pic would have been much higher. But let's give the girl a break, she's SIXTEEN. I think she's my favorite, possibly just because I love that she's only 16. |

As much as I want to dislike Demelza, I just can't manage to do it. She's too adorable. She reminds me a bit of Melrose in terms of personality, she
knows she's good and she is very certain she's gonna win. But Demelza is more likable cause she does it all with a very smile and is so darn bubbly.
And her eyes are stunning
I haven't seen him before this, but he's the best mentor i've seen on a Top Model show. What he did for Alamela was very sweet, and I liked that he said he would be mean, but only after he's been fair. The poor teens and their birthday party This show is so much better than antm

Who knew Alyce would be so versatile?
Anyway, I thought both Steph H. and Jordan looked awful on this last episode. Looking at them in comparison to some of this season's girls makes me glad Australia's Next Top Model had Alice last cycle!

After re-watching the eps: I'm liking Demelza (even with her 40" hips -- get thee to a gym!). There's a bit of bitchiness, but her good points seem to outweigh that. Still love Alamela and I think that she's the only person since Alison Nix that I've actually liked that haircut on. However, I much preferred the pre-makeover length, but I think she can work the new hair (though I think she'll go sooner than later). Can't fucking stand Leiden (she has a few good lines, but completely gross to look out) or Alexandra. |

Alice was too much of a whiny baby for my taste. At least the show was decent enough to make sure her skeletal appearance wasn't due to an eating
disorder (though she definitely did not eat well). I was rooting for the other cry baby in the group - Paloma. She was such a bitchy diva!

Demelza is stunning and adorable. <3 My favo. I like Caris because she seems so shy and confused. Leiden is a hideous wench but I like that she makes fun of
people. Samantha's eyebrows O_o. Alyce is good too. Belinda was c00t at first but now she's boring, same with Alamela. Emma is grosserz. Jamie is
skanky. Rebecca is meh. Alexandra is fug but she's an amazing bitch. <3

Wow, I am really loving this show. 10000000X better than ANTM, modeling wise and entertainment wise. The cattyness is very subtle, which is so much better.
There are no fake ANTM blowups
 . The fear factor thing was cool and lol @ Leiden being scared of Edward Scissorhands . The photoshoot was copied
from ANTM 9, the rock climbing one. The photos all turned out better though. The preview for next week looks craaaazy! I can't wait!
Thoughts on the Girls: (contains elimination spoiler):

Alamela - Still don't like her. The only girl in the cast that shouldn't be there, in my opinion. She has everything needed to be a model except
the looks.
Alexandra - She is great! This seasons bitch, and she is stunning too. Expect her to be around for a while. Alyce - Wow, what a bitch! I enjoy her character, and she is pretty as well. Although she has a pointy chin. Belinda - Looks pretty at times, not so much at other times. She is likeable and cooky, but not good enough to win. Caris - Still my fave, although she definetly has flaws. She has the most beautiful face of them all, but I am afraid she can't win with braces and bad skin. It is never good to be seen as the cryer. I thought she would be gone, but she was called first, I was pleasantly surprised. Demelza - Loved her with that whole shoe thing. She is starting to grow on me, and she is beautiful Emma - I was just starting to like her She needed to go though.
Jamie - Aww, I love Jamie. She is so sweet and has a great body. I hope she lasts a while, but I am afraid for her. Leiden - She is growing on me as well. I think the blonde her actually suits her, she actually looks soft. Rebecca - I love her too, she is doing great. Samantha - Don't like her. Should be out soon I can not get over how much better this is than ANTM! If you have questions feel free to ask! |
