Ariel: *overheard producers* Hey Brode, the second team is coming to the finish line! Get up! NOW!
Brodie: Okay...are we going to do this for every lasting team? Ariel: Yes, or in case you don't want your 10% share of money we'd get from these teams, go ahead and fuck off. I'm going to stay here and scream my guts out. Brodie: You said it is 20%... Ariel: Who fucking cares about the share?! You get money, be happy and buy yourself some hookers. What's the fuss about 'share of money' *rolls eyes*? Brodie: But you even took my share of money last time we won a million... Ariel: Oh just shut up please. |

Dick: Shall we re-do our disappointed post?
Amber: We already did that. At least we're 2nd. Dick: Yeah, but still .... The Donatos should have won it all!! Amber: Hey, at least we have $169 we can split. I can get a few bags of meth for that. Dick: Just give me a smoke!!! Dick: All in all, this was a fun race. The first I signed up for, and the third to complete. Amber: At least we got 2nd. Dick: That's true. We beat the inactive nuns! And many thanks to the producers who put so much time into it.
Funkey: I'm going to get another drink! |

Phil: Dick and Amber, you are the second team to finish The Amazing Race.
Dick: I'm exhausted. Amber: This has been a difficult journey. Phil: How do you think your relationship has changed? Dick: We now know more about each other. Amber: Yeah, we've grown to like each other. Dick: And I've grown to like Amber's meths. Amber: I'M NOT GIVING THEM TO YOU! Dick: Darn. Phil: Francis and Mary-Beth, you are team number three. Congratulations. Francis: Wow. Mary-Beth: I'm pretty amazed at what two nuns can do when they put their minds to it. Phil: Coming to this race, you two have had no experience at all. What fueled you? Mary-Beth: There's Ramsay, for instance. Francis: After we knew that he was actually helping us avoid Angela, we strived to win this race for him. Mary-Beth: We didn't succeed, but at least we made it to the final three. Francis: I'm so proud for making it this far. Mary-Beth: Yeah, we beat strong competition. *Group Photo* *All the teams smile* Amy: We've won, and that's what that counts. Jones: This race has been unbelievable. Everyone: CHEESE! ----------- FIN ------------- |

Dick: Wow... all the eliminated teams at the final Pit Stop.. What a reunion. Amber: That Ariel & Brodie.. What could have been. I bet they would usually be fierce racers. Dick: And my favorites... John and Vickie... Let's repeat the smackdown!
Dick: And as a final note... Amy only won it due to Super Jones. I hope he takes all the cash.

I just can't comment on your race at all, yzysg, since as a racer, I failed to make it the first leg, and as a reader, let's say I'm not that quite
regular reader as well. But given all the complaints about the difficulties and time span per leg, I think that is the biggest issue you have to fix.
Anyway, I don't know how hard it is to host a race, so I won't criticize you on that. But taking a look at the big picture from leg one to finale, I have to give props to you for creating such long, complex, yet interesting race route. Twists like Opt-Task, Road Obstacle and Stand-Off really make your race distinctive from others. Good job, yzysg! |

Well, that partially explains why I was getting so mixed up at that Roadblock. I wanted to use both the Stock Ticket and the map of provinces in Afghanistan
but the leaderboard indicated that the Afghan map was completed in leg 10 rather than leg 9. I should have thought that it would be that way seeing as leg 9
was Afghanistan but it's hard to think straight when you're rushing to get a puzzle completed. As it turns out , out of my three attempts my first was
the closest to being right with 10 correct answers. Then both my other two had nine correct , but a different set of nine in each try. I think that's where
this task got really impossible - now knowing which items were correct meant it was easy to get a bunch right but then just start moving backwards.
I hope that Amy & Jones haven't been too disappointing as a team, story-wise. Seeing we don't have the pressure of story arcs here I didn't put the kind of thought towards developing my characters as was required in AT's race, here I was just posting skits for fun. So hopefully some people other than me found them funny. |

Anyway, I think the final leg itself had some great tasks (although the detour was perhaps a little short) but there were too many. Part 2 of the Roadblock
would've been enough and giving us the clues for the cryptex would've also been enough to try to work out. Overall, despite the comments this race has
been fun, and has given me something to do. So yeah.
Anyway, from those suffering withdrawl, I'll be hosting a race to cater for the yzysg race fans from July-September. I've already written three legs, and hope I can get a few people to join. Legs will be on Saturday and Sunday mornings (Fri & Sat nights for US) albeit a couple of hours earlier than yzysg's legs. Francis: Wow, Mary, we came 3rd MB: But we can't build that orphanage now Francis: Oh contrare, that's what the Talk Show circuit is for. Once we've been on Oprah, the sky's the limit MB: But is it right to expoit overweight black women for the purposes of charity? Francis: Exploit? She's rolling in it. Final route map should be up in a minute or two. |

It's a shame your race will be earlier than yzysg's, because that's as early as I'm capable of getting up on the weekends. Anyway, I hope it
goes well.

Fun Fact: Thinga makes the final 3 in every race he's ever competed in and then chokes worse than Amanda at the end of China.

Final leader board up. This season has been a very fun (though tiring) season for me, and I'm going to self-evaluate and rank the legs. Feel free to
dispute or agree.
I liked the previous TAR seasons RB. I also had fun preparing the riddles and the maze for the detour in Egypt.

I must say that this race really transformed my boring Saturday mornings... But I think the tasks are too hard, at least for me. I mean, really hard. Looking back at the former legs, I can't imagine how I did it. And I think my most favorite part was the volcano roadblock. I really enjoyed it. Hehehe.... And also the first half of the superleg. I forgot the leg number but I liked it as well. My favorites were the Aussie alliance though Jonathan and Victorya U-TURNED me. Hahahaha... |
