FINAL ROADBLOCK: Who wants to re-live your experience on the race?

A roadblock is a task that only one member may perform. Each team member cannot perform more than a maximum of 7 roadblocks in this race. This means that the person who DID NOT do the previous roadblock MUST do this roadblock.

Teams must post *(Name) will do the roadblock!*

In the second part of a special 2-part Final Roadblock, that person will face a field of objects they encountered along the racecourse. Each team has been given 25 recognizable items from different legs of the race. With stress and exhaustion at an all-time high, they must place on the stage 14 specific items that match 2 different requirements:

First, there may be only 1 item from each of the 12 prior legs of the race, EXCEPT on split-legs. For split-legs, teams must place one item from EACH HALF of the leg.

Second, of the 14 items,

One must be a Yield.

One must be a U-Turn.

One must be a Road Obstacle.

Of the Yield, Road Obstacle, and U-Turn, one must have been used by a team to stop another team on a specific leg.

One must be an object either at or brought to a Pit Stop.

One must be an object encountered at a detour.

One must be an object encountered at a Fast Forward.

Four must be objects found in a Roadblock, two of which were either stones or rocks.

Two must be objects encountered at a Route Marker.

One must be an object encountered at a Stand-Off.

One must be an object encountered ONLY at an Opt-Task.

And one must be an object encountered at a Speed Bump.

If it sounds easy, think again. The trick is there are several ways to fulfill either of these requirements, but there is only one correct group of 14 items that fulfill both. Once they have put the 14 correct items onto their stage in the correct order, the clue box will open and they'll get their next clue.

Instructions:

You have until 11.00am to consolidate your answers and PM one FINAL answer by 11.00am. The team with the most number of correct answers will be able to receive their next clue. The team with the least will suffer a 10 minute penalty, and after the penalty is over, has to keep submitting answers until they get an equivalent or more correct answers than the team with the most answers. Only then will the team be able to continue with this leg.

Final Task:

For their Final Task, teams must unlock the cryptex with a 5-letter word. To receive hints to the answer that will unlock the cryptex, teams must run to 5 podiums, one at a time, and correctly answer questions regarding the eliminated teams in this race. For every correct answer, teams will receive a clue. For every incorrect answer, teams will be penalised 3 minutes. Teams must refer to the Coding Guidelines to decode their clue and find out one of the five letters that will unlock the cryptex. There is a time limit of 2 minutes to answer every question. Thus, the maximum number of clues a team can get is 5. Once teams have unlocked their cryptex, they will know what to do. NOTE: ONLY ONE TEAM MAY BE ON ANY ONE PODIUM AT ANY TIME.
