Duh. Lots of us still think Carrie is an overrated robot of a singer. She is a grammy winner because the songs given to her to sing are from the most brilliant songwriters in the country music industry, NOT because she brings anything special to it, other than being a pretty blond. I just saw a recent performance of hers and I thought after these past few years, she should have gotten better in her stage presentation, but no. In one of her songs, she has an orchestrated move where she puts a leg up on a chair and kicks it over. We all laughed out loud when she did it - she had a look of terror on her face, like a moron that was being asked to walk AND chew gum at the same time. She had to sing AND move around the stage and actually DO things on cue, and she still can't do it. She still is a lousy live or televised performer, but can sing well enough in the studio. Without her good looks, we would NEVER had heard anything else from her.

Other than singing, she is utterly useless. No song-writing ability, no personality on camera. Just fluff.

Bo was actually more talented in his own genre, can write music, comes off as more authentic. And, other than the Ruben/Clay finale, the Bo/Carrie finale was the closest in American Idol history, so other people feel the same way. Carrie's fans were people that like country music, and all ages of men that like to beat their meat to a pretty blond girl. Bo's fans were the rest of the world.
