Deja was the the black chick in S2 to get cut as they were choosing the top 20. All the other dancers were sure she made it because she was "so talented." She got cut last year too, but she wasn't highlighted.

This show is not THAT bad for it to be featuring him for three seasons in a row. It looks like Adam's back to his OTT antics again this season (ugh), and Mia as a judge in tryouts is making me cringe already. But if Mandy's a judge this year, all may be forgiven. If Claire and Deja are back, does that mean that they are automatic qualifiers, based on how the show/Nigel put them in previous seasons? And I know its not a particularly popular opinion, but I kinda didn't like Phillip last year and didn't see him as all too versatile in terms of the grand scheme of the show, but I could be wrong. Anyone know if the quarterback and the hiccuping ballroom couple are back?

Oh i hope so, and the one armed girl and Hannah Lee(?), the one who had like half her face reconstructed after the building fell(?), that footage sent a chill down my spine... MILES?! Oh yeah.. put Kam to shame... hot guy. And loved the one armed lady and was really pulling for the girl who was injured in that floor collapse. Interesting timing for me to hear this dancer may be back as there was a christian rock concert at a nearby church last week and the floor collapsed and injured 50 people.

And it needs to be said, but she looked great in her first audition BEFORE most could even tell she had the prosthetic arm. But if memory serves, the quarterback didn't really cut it the more they put him through Vegas week, did he? Still, another year under his belt and who knows. There was also the ballet prodigy who I think the only reason she didn't make top 20 was because they wanted her to come back this year.

He is clearly just hoping to become some type of reality whore...he was in the audition episode of "Make Me a Supermodel" as well. He must just show up at any audition in New York for a reality show and hope he gets screen time. But ya know what, if he's back after the reaming Simon gave him last year...the producers are just clearly looking for some filler.

I know Hawk pulled a "Carly" back in season 2 with his Visa or something, was there anyone else from prior seasons who popped up in season 3..and might in 4?

There weren't any Atlanta auditions this past year, so I'm not sure if he went to the SC auditions or if he just forwent it all. Looking at his myspace, it looks as though he went and joined a troupe, though, so apparently he did clean up some of the rough edges they were talking about last year. I can't wait to see who pulls out the baby oil stunt this year. It worked (very well) for Jessi, so I figure someone has to copycat. I missed Janet's initial audition, though, so the surprise of her prosthetic limb wasn't as big when I saw her Las Vegas stuff. Although, if Olivia, or anyone resembling her (and for that matter Faina's partner that threw a hissy fit), I will laugh hysterically. They provide the much needed diva-factor in the Las Vegas auditions.

It really demonstrated that the judges were favoring Lauren - she pretty much got a free pass on the tour, when she should've been eliminated at the Top 16, Top 14 and Top 12 (arguably, of course). I just think that Jessi, Shauna and Anya were all better, but I guess it's the judges opinion that matters. Watching Lauren on tour and meeting her definitely changed my opinion of her, though. She is a good dancer, but I saw Shauna dance/ met her as well, and I think that she should've been in the Top 10 for sure.
