I thought the episode was great. The ensemble was used incredibly well. The Michael-Stanley confrontation felt so real, scary, awkward and hilarious all at the
same time. Ryan and Toby gunning for Jim had my stomach in knots. I want to see where that goes because Jim looked kind of nervous. I always used to get the
impression that he'd be fine if he was let go, but as he is getting older and thinking of settling down, the job security may be more useful to him.
Inapporpriate things said to Pam were also pretty funny. Seeing the panic on her face when she couldn't find her glasses at the end was amusing.

To me this was the best episode since the strike, which isn't really saying much, but it was still a good episode. I've been saying for a while, enough
of this going on field trips around Scranton every week, just stay in the damn office and be funny. I got my wish.
That flow chart is brilliant, as everyone else has attested to. |

Kevin has a shamrock next to his name on the org. chart, and Andy has a graduate.

What's the significance of the dotted line leading from one of the warehouse guys up to Michael? Lonnie (Darryl's buddy) has openly called Michael out on his dunder-headedness on more than one occasion. That's the only thing I can think of. |

Thanks for that link to the chart.
I love the Jim and Dwight job titles, "Original Assistant Regional Manager" and "Assistant Regional Manager". Also love how Dwights line is just a little bit higher than Jim's. Hillarious. I didn't love the episode though. There were funny parts, but too much of it I found hard to watch, including when Stanley let Michael have it. I squirm a lot while watching this show, but the last few episodes have been pretty dark and uncomfortable, haven't they? |

That's what's sooo good about it. I love those moments that make you gasp, even the serious oriented ones.
As for women having no sense of humour about marriage proposals: yet another reason why I love the gay. I'd love it if someone had some fun with a proposal to me. I'd want something that was personal to us above anything else. Funny or silly is fine as long as it's 'us'. Spare me the flowers, candle-lit dinners and violins on the beach please. I'd rather not get proposed in a setting suggested by Vogue or Mademoiselle. Back to the show.. "If you propose to me in a Michael Meeting I will say 'no'!" Angela's incredibly lame Mad Libs <3 Phyllis overly long cement story <3 and of course: Dwight's awesome chart. Props must have had a blast making that. I bet the whole cast and crew had fun reading it over. |

Did it look like Angela was impressed with Dwight when she overheard heard how he scammed Andy?

that aspect of the angela's (angel-a! heh!) personality is totally unappreciated. so small, so mean, so vindictive and yet so proper and judgmental. the office should always have this "sand in your bikini bottoms" uncomfortable-ness about its humor.i love it... |

Did y'all catch the "That's what she said" from Michael while Dwight was shoving his face in the cement?

I would love to see Ryan self-destruct this season. I truly hate that little douche. Something along the lines of a Jan melt-down would be nice.

So are we supposed to think that the warning to Jim was Toby's idea or Ryan's? Or is it a mystery?

Urethra Franklin wrote: In the second deleted scene, Ryan walks in asking for Toby. I'm sure Toby filled Ryan's head with the hate he has for Jim. Since Ryan already hates Jim himself, he abused his power by giving him a warning about his job despite it not having anything to do with his sales at all. I'm sure Toby and Ryan were in on it. I totally expect something to come out of that within the next two episodes. |

Toby's losing me as a fan. He's turning very unprofessional with his hate for Jim because of Pam.

I love seeing that side of Toby and it is really interesting that Jim has an outright enemy in Ryan. There are added layers of opposition that will only deepen
the growth of Jim's character. Everyone keeps saying he is going to leave Dunder-Mifflin, but I saw the scene with Ryan as an indication that maybe Jim
will re-ignite the fire in his belly and just begin to kick ass at his job. He is entering a new stage in his life that perhaps Dunder-Mifflin isn't so bad
and the job is very safe for someone about to start a family.

Call me crazy, but I'm also loving Toby's dark side. This is the only show that regularly blends the funny with the dark and uncomfortable. I think
Toby and Ryan were in on it, partially because Toby's HR and I'd expect him to cater to corporate at the expense of local employees, but more
importantly, he's jealous of Jim.
I was a bit surprised that Toby, given Michael's moronic ways and his open dislike, would suggest that Stanley be fired (or even show concern for disrespect towards Michael), but I guess he was doing his job. |

Im just a little sad that Toby's character has turned into a one trick pony. We get it, he has a crush on Pam, is that all he has to iffer the show from
now on?

No, I love the Toby/Michael dynamic.
My theory about the Jim thing is that Ryan drove the warning, but Toby didn't defend Jim in anyway. He just passively sat back and watched it happen. |
