I worked with a couple people who had DSL and said it sucks ass. I love my Roadrunner. Hope it gets better for you!
Also, I won't be at all surprised if I end up with about 100 points on this one. |

Hi, | ||
|
Hi, everyone. Just call me Grandma. Krystina and Mylee were born yesterday afternoon. Krystina is 4 lbs 15 oz, and Mylee is 4 lbs, 7 oz, so they will be in the
hospital for a bit until they are 5 lbs. Both appear to be healthy. Mom's still not allowed out of bed because of the blood pressure problem, but maybe
that will change tomorrow.
Anyway, back to LOST. I plan to keep a pen and paper handy and make a hash mark everytime I hear "Jack". I hope the rest of you do the same, so we can see if we get a consensus. Scamp |

I don't know exactly what is considered a "wife-beater" but in the scene where Faraday is convincing Juliet he can help there is a guy behind
Faraday wearing a sleeveless shirt.

I said I was going to count the Jack's as I watched. And then the first 8 freaking words or so of the episode were Jack! Jack! Jack!
Seriously. I started laughing and my brother thinks I'm crazy. |

ByAnyOtherName wrote: Trust me, you are not alone. They must have said "Jack" about ten times in just the first minute. I started laughing too and thought forget I'm not going to try to count this in the first viewing. Can you imagine if you had to take a drink each time they said Jack? I would have passed out before the end of the episode. |

My husband said that tank worn by the extra IS a wife beater to him and it doesn't have to be white. The straps were slim enough. That's a
man's opinion.
I did keep count as well as I could and Jack was said 40+ times. Seriously. If you need me to pinpoint every time I can, but his name was said more than 40 times. I never get the fucking 150 pointers right. If any of you chose I (40+) as your answer, congrats. GIAA - what was the nickname you heard? (hoping there was one and I missed it!!) |

Yep, it was at least 14 times in the first scene. Can't believe I was able to keep up with it, but I am sure it was 40/41 times. *sigh*
I'll still argue that the shirt the extra had on could be considered a "wife-beater". I mean there is really no such thing anyway. Have you ever seen a rack of t-shirts in the Hanes section labeled "wife-beaters"? I know most people think of them as the thin tight white tanks with like ribbed material, but again.. now I have gotten the opinions of 4 or 5 of my male friends online and they agreed that it was damn sure close enough. They all thought tanks w/rather thin straps of any color were associated with the term "wife beater". |

It was 14 times during the beginning that Jack was said 5 from Juliette, one from Bernard, one from Rose, 7 more when Jack collapsed.
That shirt was a wife beater. It was a sleeveless t-shirt. |
