Amanda wasted her immunity idol over a jealous twinge, sending her rival STRAIGHT into the arms of her boyfriend. Yeah, that was brilliant.

Remember when Amanda/Cire called Alexis a triple threat. Amanda lost in front of the jury too Todd, who gave a very good jury speach.. Alexis is some kind of motivational speaker. You don't want to let someone like that to get in front of the jury. Remember Todd was able to convince a lot of the jury to vote for him based on his jury performance.

If Erik loses the next immunity, you still have to get him out. So that would leave Alexis at the final 4 with the three of them. You don't want to risk Alexis getting that far, and keep in mind Alexis could also join up with Cire then to force a tie. At the final 4, if it is a tie they determine it by whoever wins a tie breaker. So a lot more likely Cire would go with a tie breaker there.

She didn't vote out Catlady because Parvati refused to budge and at worst it would have been a tie. Plus I think Amanda may be loved but she's relying on Parvati to help her get further. Parvy must have reminded Amanda of her own comment about getting rid of the "motivational speaker." Factor in that Alexis got the "most truthful honest" person at the RC, and we didn't see Natalie get anything nice. Don't forget poor Alexis' gimpy leg - "Hey we'd be doing her a favor, Manda!" We saw that Amanda was trying to reduce Parvati's options by targeting Catalie, but game wise for all of them, it IS better to have dumped Alexis now while they had the power to do so. Waiting til F4 could be risking having one of those sit down and write on a tablet challenges, at which having a gimpy leg would be irrelevant.

They also still have a final 3 deal with Cire, that they could go back to if they had to. Plus the odds are that Cire won't win a final 3 endurance, and she wasn't in an aligned pair. They can also easily get Cire back on their side for a third vote if they have too. For example, Erik doesn't win immunity they can easily go and say we have to get him out now. Natalie/Alexis where another aligned pair in the game. You don't want to leave an aligned pair in the game until the final 4.
