Ugh I hate that fucking moron Nigel SO MUCH. I'll catch up on the thread later, but I wanted to point out Nigel's little speech that summed up why I
hate him everso:
"Katarzyna...shes pretty, looks like a model, has great bone structure in her face...but WHITNEY omg shes bitchy and real and interesting and thats really what being a model is all about". o rly? So I guess any fug moron can become a "top model" now? GOD I HATE THIS SHOW (but will never stop watching it of course) |

I know I just need to let go and enjoy ANTM for the farce it is and not continue to scrutinize it as a real modeling competition -- it's just so hard to do that, though. The challenge was beyond ridiculous and, IMO, Kat & Anya had the best overall photos by far. The photo they showed of Whitney, she had her face all scrunched up like she was giving birth or something. Dom's was a ridiculous pose, not even in keeping with the challenge. Poor Fatima was just all hunched up and straining. It's obvious that the editing is needing to give some credibility to why Dom & Whitney are still in this thing. Dom "That's the prettiest picture you've ever taken!" That statement alone is pathetic and no reason to keep her in the competition as a model. As reality TV fodder, Dom ranks up there with the best of them. Whitney is beginning her redemtion edit. The fact that both Tyra AND Nigel are Whitney fans really points to a Whitney win. Anya is beginning her downfall edit. The fact that Nigel isn't an Anya fan does not bode well for the girl. I really wish Tyrant would step down as the host of ANTM and concentrate on her talk show. Maybe then, could ANTM actually focus on the models on the show and not be all about Tyra. Maybe then, America could turn out a winner with serious modeling potential & ability like AusNTM. I am going to dream that the little clip of Paulina stating Tyra can take pictures and Paulina will take over is a foreshadowing that Paulina will step in next season for Tyrant and host/mentor the show. I then want Paulina to continually castrate Nigel each episode and shut him down after his inane comments. A gal can dream . . . |

Those pics of Dom are amazing. She may not look like much in real life, but she sure is photogenic and she knows how to model.
A good explanation for Dom still being there is that she is a good model and there has always been someone worse who deserved to go before her. I won't be surprised if Whitney goes next because she can't step it up and Dom can. Dom haters can suck it. Nuff said.

Whiteney's picture was awful. She looked like some dyke in a biker movie. I'm thinking the only thing that kept her is that she won the posing
challenged. However, she really needs to go next. I can't really fault the remaining contestants. Dominique does take really good pictures. IRL she
looks alot like a girl I work with, that also thinks she is the shit.

Um, Naima will ALWAYS be the worst winner ever.
Let's just face it: Whitney has to win because no plus size model ever has and Tyra wants one (If only they could bring back Tocara). I don't mind Whitney winning so much but i think a final two of Anya and Whitney with a Whit win will be too much for the viewing audience so Anya will have to go soon. Maybe next week? |

It really was a toss-up as to who would go home. Whitney's picture sure did suck, but she won the earlier challenge and she is
"The Great Fat Hope" so she had those two things in her favor. She sure looked alot more like Xena than her sidekick as they mentioned. She woulda been a dead ringer if she was still a brunette. I can see her carving out a career as a Warrior Princess in B-Movies and television if she doesn't win. Like alot of girls from past cycles it won't take alot more learning for Kata to get signed so no big heartbreak, she has the look. |

Not that I've taken this show very seriously after Cycle 3, but after Tootiesha won last cycle I'm shocked that there are really people who care about
who wins...I only enjoy the show because of the DomDom's and Whitneys they give us.

My prediction:
F4: DoMANique goes (go-sees? yes please!). F3: Anya goes (they will say she plateaued or something). F2: Fatima goes (something about her face looked like someone covered her face in cheese and sausage and baked it). WHITNEY WINS BECAUSE A FATTY HAS TO WIN EVENTUALLY. Whitney would NOT be a worse winner then Dogleisha or Naima. Worse than Nicole though... |

Anya, Fatima, and, unbelievably, DoMANique had the best photos this week. DoMANique may not have the best in-person look, but the girl pulled out a great
photo this week. There was no way you could place her in hte bottom two unless Anya and Fatima were down there with her.
