Is it asking too much for a fucking Locke eppy?Nope. You people are so damned negative about Jack episodes. I'd think his last FF would at least make you think twice before assuming the worst. It was amazing. Anyways, doubt we'll see mama or Sarah. The Sarah stuff is so over I hope. I'm thinking some back seat car sex with Kate. Yeaaaah. (poor Juliet.. I actually like her better w/Jack) Anyway, you get your mythology and Ben/Widmore mind games, I get some of the girlie stuff I look forward to. Any flash forward works for me. Going from FBs to FFs was just damned genius to me. A peek into the future of any O6 is something I look forward to. |

If it can't be a Locke eppy then I'm glad it's about Jack. I'm anxious to see if he finds out about Claire & I hope we find out why he
doesn't want to see Aaron. Now that we're finally getting answers it should be a good one.

Personally I never care who the centric person in an epsiode is...as long as the story moves forward<g>. Last year I felt Sayid was being underused...but this year he's really getting used ( lol...literally by Ben). |

Not even the Bai Ling episode - I think the writers were on drugs scripting the flashbacks, but the island story was great. There are storylines (and characters) I am more interested in than others, but I'm really not one to come screaming how much I hated an episode. Most of Sun & Jin flashbacks bored me, but even the "bad" Lost episodes are better than any tv on since September 2004. Just my opinion. I understand some of you miss Sawyer, but I've seen a couple of posts that explained that well. Sawyer's FB well has run dry. I'm sure we'll see more of him next season. |

I do hope they get stories all caught up with each other before too long though, because if they just do O6 FF's until then, they'll just exhaust all FF stories and we'll end up with tattoo rapist 2.0. |

I wouldn't worry about an overload of FFs. Next season should be present time: off island and on island. That'll be an adjustment for me having no
flashes but it's possible they could throw in a few here and there. (Danielle for one.. and I refuse to believe she is dead!) And maybe some flash-sideways
stuff.
I think Sayid could be in danger of being the next major character death. (no spoiler, just an opinion) Nadia is dead, he is alone and can only go so far as Ben's bitch. Sawyer is too popular to stay on the back burner. Have faith, chick. Or umm.. change favorites. <glares back!> |

Honestly, I'm hoping that next season has no flashforwards OR flashbacks for established characters. A Danielle fb, or a Faraday, Keamy, or Lapidus fb
would be awesome, but please, not every episode.

I'm really looking forward to a Jack episode. His FF in the season 3 finale was so compelling. How can you not want to know more about that? If Hurely
saw Charlie maybe the island does something to Jack to make him realize he needs to go back. Jack is seriously screwed up in the future and I want to know
what happened to make him that way.
And I totally agree about Sawyer. I would really be disappointed if we didn't get a Sawyer episode this season. Although once the Oceanic Six leave I would imagine that would leave Sawyer as one of the leaders on the island so that should give him more of a storyline. |

But even though there has been a drought on a Sawyer-centric episode for the past season and a half, I can live with it IF Sawyer has a big meaty part of
most of the episodes outside of the flashes. And I agree that next season will probably yield a lot of screen time for him given that he is the de facto
leader outside of Jack and Sayid. I just don't want Sawyer in the background. He is the reason I hung in there during the suckitude of the first half of
last season.

Sawyer is an integral part of LOST. He's not a character like Charlie, Sun/Jin, etc. who is major enough to be a "shocking death" but still be
relatively unimportant in the scheme of things. We need resolution to his character in terms of his relationship with Kate, how things happen on the Island
for him, etc.
Simply put, there are 4 characters who will be in the series finale: Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Locke. Every other character can die between now and then (with MAYBE the exception of Ben). Those four are untouchable, despite what Darlton continually says about how no character is safe. |
