Isn't it kind of late in the season to be saying "game on"? I don't see an underdog edit with Amanda. I thought she looked stupid in the confessional. She's heard P. lie, knows she intends to backstab O/J and makes an alliance with A/N, etc. and then is surprised by the Ozzy boot? What is she doing there?

Perhaps Amanda thought that Parvati/Cirie would inform her before they do it, since they have a tight alliance and all. Perhaps, Amanda didn't tell Ozzy because she knows Ozzy has to go, and was willing to let others do the dirty work for her. If need be, so as she doesn't lose a jury vote...Amanda clearly didn't look to upset about Ozzy being gone.

The other reason I don't buy an Amanda win (just yet) is because they've made her look petty and stupid on several occasions, which they never did with Danni. Or even Amber, that I can remember.

The makeout scenes with Ozzy. The jealousy over Alexis. That's stuff you would expect to see from a Becky or Danielle. Not a winner.

But then again I didn't see an Amber or Danni win coming either. Maybe the editing is just screwed up in seasons with returning players. Who knows?

Or maybe your not that good at spotting a UTR winner. Yes, Amanda showed some jealousy over Alexis, but it seems like the editing also worked to make us understand why Amanda was upset. They showed us Ozzy cuddling up to Alexis, and the flirting that was going on there. So it didn't seem like Amanda was irrational. Plus, it sounded like Amanda was far more upset about the idea of Parvati double crossing her, as she chocked up, now I don't know if I can trust Parvati. So, I think the intent was for the audience to side with Amanda. Not Alexis and not Paravti, and it was also done to make Ozzy look like a jerk.

But the "Poor Amanda" edit which really they editors are having to reach for is interesting because it appears from the spoilers that Amanda has really a charmed game, and if Paravati was never really planning on double crossing her. So all this poor Amanda is for a reason, especially since "poor Amanda" ends up in the Final 2. (Someone said earlier. Paravati/Ozzy are edited as the villians, and Amanda/James are the "heroes" or at very least the "wronged parties." And then there is the fact that they are playing up Amanda being nice to James. (Who is besides Cirie the biggest fan favorite left in the game)

Not upset about Ozzy maybe but definately by being blindsided. If not, then why the confessional? She should not have been so surprised. She herself planned on backstabbing Ozzy and James AGAIN so why should she not suspect every other player there? It is fresher in her mind than anybody else other than James. Every time she looks at James she should be reminded to trust no one. C/P did do her a favour but Ozzy is only one vote. That move clearly stood out and Amanda was not apart of it and will get no credit for it. Eliza's reaction said it all. She won't get credit for Jason's surprise boot either.

And that according to Amanda's confessional was a big reason why Amanda was angry. She talked about how it made her look stupid and out of the loop. Remember Amanda has always been in the loop. And it made her wonder if her Parv/Cirie allies were looking elsewhere. That's why Amanda was angry. I don't know if Amanda was going to backstab Ozzy/James or not.

Yeah, that's what I meant. If you're using conventional editing analysis, Parvati and Cirie are the only two choices. I was responding to the claim that "the editing seems to be pointing towards an Amanda win". It's spoilers that may be pointing to a possible Amanda win. Not editing.

Absolutely they could be telling a different story this season, but it's not something you can easily predict just based on what we're seeing on screen. If it was, everyone would have picked Amanda to win before the Parvati/Amanda spoilers (or rumors) came out.

And I don't remember too many people besides maybe kenc and Relynn backing Amanda before the past couple of weeks, so it couldn't have been that obvious that Amanda was a possible winner.

Alexis was getting a lot more support than Amanda was.

I agree with you, but what I'm arguing is that Amanda's edit has been slowly growing since the episode where she caught the shark. And it's almost like with Ozzy gone it's a whole new game for her. Personally a part of me would like to see an Amanda win, because I think "pick out the winner" first episode is boring as well. (It's been that way from for the past several season, and I think now we are really due for a surprise.
