I think it was that event that tipped Widmore off that they were coming for him. (Thus them being ready for Sayid)

It'll be kinda cool to see these future scenes catch up to present time in season 5. I wonder what it'll be like though with no flash sequences at all? Is it off-island/on-island and that's it? I feel kinda dorky that I'm already missing that whoosh sound.

Posts: 5583 (04/26/08 11:52 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	phantom - I remember a few posters during the S3 finale commenting that the whoosh sound gave the FF away because they noticed the sound before the flash (meaning forward) instead of after the flash (meaning going back). I never gave it much thought. I'm not sure where they got that because it whooshes before and after the flash-forwards. And unless my memory is totally effed up, it did the same during flashbacks. That sound indicated switching to FB, then back to the present. I just watched a bit of E9 to listen to the sound and it kinda does sound ... different. But maybe you have that planted in my head now. :) I'm too lazy at the moment to check a S3 flashback and compare the sounds. Sera - I remember Insiderscoop, but wasn't as familiar as I am with DarkUFO spoilers this season. I used to read a lot of stuff without paying attention to the source. Feel free to insiderscoop me and my PMs anytime if you know something I'd wanna know. (Did that sound a little dirty or am I just twisted?)

And now we have an entire assault team on the island? I know that the writers only have a certain # of episodes left, but still... It seems like mostly it's a potential problem when you leave the island, or even just move away from it after getting too close. It probably has something to do with your elapsed time being near or on the island being much different than the time that has elapsed off the island. And Felicia, in the eppy 10 thread you said you don't think we'll ever see Nadia again. There are spoilers out there that Sayid and Nadia were seen together among the attendees during the filming of Christian Shepard's funeral.

I was doing so good not being spoiled this year and then I read that Sawyer has a super secret scene that is a game changer over at Kristin @ E!. I know she is Wrongda and all, but I don't think she is wrong in this case. The lack of a Sawyer flash ff/back this year makes it pretty plausible he is involved in the biggest WTF moment of the finale. I have zero willpower when it comes to this show. I wish I could just make it 1 season without being spoiled.

In these pics we see Aaron being held by Kate...and Sun, with no sign of Claire. I guess it won't be long and we'll see how they become separated. There were no pics of Sawyer in the group either. We see Sayid back on the island. That rather surprised me...when he left...that scene made me believe that was his last look at the island...but apparently it wasn't. No sign of Desmond though. He may have been worried about going back and going through his flashes again.

The best part is it's currently in the final stages of construction and with some sections already being cooled down to their final operating temperature of 2K. It's theorized that it can produce strangelets, micro black holes, magnetic monopoles and supersymmetric particles ... the recipe for time travel. The Frozen Donkey Wheel = LOST's version of the Hadron Collider in the Orchid Station. S.

Which i thought was strange and interesting considering Claire isnt in the O6 and it would seem strange Claire's mom would be in the FF.
