Big jump up in terms of households and there's no surprise after how great these last few episodes have been. Hopefully it can increase even more next
week.

CBS won the 8 o'clock hour as "Survivor" (4.0/12, 12.5 million viewers overall)It only got about 3 million less than Grey's Anatomy. I think that's pretty impressive |

The show is getting similar ratings to other hit shows, and is actually cheaper to make. So it will be around for a while. I think they would move it to another night first, before canceling it. Big Brother is still going to be on after the ratings it got in the winter edition. |

CBS got some traction out of the two-hour season-finale of Survivor: Micronesia, which averaged 12.92 million viewers and a 4.4/12 from 8-10 p.m. Here is the half-hour breakdown:Not bad for an aging series. |

Why does a piece of shit show like DWTS can 20 mil? Anyway, this is still pretty low, I wonder how many people dvred it

People, get the "These ratings are low" thinking out of your head. This show is in it's sixteenth season about to start it's seventeenth and
it's still getting 12+ million viewers. Shows nowadays would KILL for those ratings.
Survivor is fine. |

True, but Ai and DWTS are as repetitive as you get and they get great ratings, even in this slump. Part of it has to do with the evolution of the media, but
part of it also has to do with the dumb casual fans.

Who cares. AI & DWTS are just passing fads on the radar of reality tv. It may sound hokey, but Survivor will still stand the test of time when it's all
said and done, over those two.
I'd take Survivor getting less viewers with it's credibility still completely intact after sixteen seasons, then watching AI and DWTS. Even though they may get better ratings, they both are still a crock of shit. |

Probably, but I dont think MB or CBS has much interest in the show anymore.Survivor is now solid, but unspectaculer

I do think Survivor can outlast AI and DWTS. Survivor is a spectacular show whereas AI and DWTS are quite plainly shit.
