It wasn't that hard to figure out which thread was which.
Unpopular threads drifted to the bottom. QSF's thread was perfect -- told me everything I needed to know in a timely manner. Barring that, the live feed thread update told me. Barring that, the live feed discussion thread told me. This whole thing is stupid -- whether they do it, or whether they just want to talk about it, talk about picking your moments -- the season was wrapping up, people were enjoying themselves, and bucket of cold water. It's just a dumb thing to do to people who willingly come to your board and often pay money to help out. Sad and juvenile, and hardly even worth the Sucks level of meanspiritedness. |

After sleeping on it, I've decided that this MUST be a joke, and I am not going to fret about it anymore. Either we'll all look back and laugh at this
and tease the dumbasses who believed it (myself included), or we'll all fuck up OSTS royally and still get our BB fix, although not as neatly as we get it
here.
I remain cautiously optimistic. Now where is my fucking free lunch? |

What's up with people bitching "So we are getting punished because we didn't post minute by minute recaps." Umm minute by minute wasn't the issue, there was about a collective 3 posts per day. Most of it was a brief statement of who was nominated or who won the competition. Swim4life is wise. And funny. Don't leet em chase ya off Swim!!! :) So instead of fucking bitching about it, why didn't you get the feeds and post about it? I have better things to do with my fucking time then ensuring that you're kept up to date on the happenings of the BB house. Look, everyone is always appreciative of those who cap. You say you don't have time, yet you post all about what's happening in the discussion thread. So basically if people can't call the hamsters the names they want to, make shit up they think is funny, or mislead people for their own enjoyment, then you won't post caps?!?! Yep, that's sane. Not to pick on you BoB, but I've seen a ton of the same type posts in this thread and yours just followed the previous. We've ALWAYS allowed snarkiness and nicknames, we just asked that the nicnames kinda be settled upon so everyone uses the same and that your snark or adoration doesn't changed the perspective of the feed. That's it. Not too hard. :) I am just really pissed at the mods right now. Even if this turns out to be a joke, I don't appreciate being fucked over the same night we were all having fun celebrating the baller win. It was fun getting all glammed up and glittered, celebrating the season close. Fuck them all. They couldn't be bothered to be here during the season, boo fucking whoo then if they didn't get the live feed updates they wanted. Really QSF? Fuck us all? Nice, directed at someone who promoted your ass in this forum. How the hell do YOU know when we were here and when we weren't? Posting doesn't equate to modding doll and I resent your rant. Quite frankly you have no clue how this place is run. Those vying to be mods have been put on the list.

And for the record, mods don't get to decide what stays and goes as far as board design.
Be pissed all you want, but blaming Aero and SoA for "getting rid of the board" is ignorant. All they get to do is lock, delete, and edit posts. Board design and purpose is an admin function. This whole "conversation" is just blowing my mind. Me personally, I have always been under the impression the mods / admins are very picky
about what is posted in the recap thread, as well as starting new threads. In the discussion thread, I enjoyed it so much because people could talk about
different theories, game strategies, ideas of what the HGs might be doing or thinking, etc. The only time people goofed off in there was when there was
NOTHING GOING ON in the feeds. And I don't get this "elitest" group mentality, either - I see everyone posting in response to everyone.
So, are we not allowed to play here at Sucks - is this a business only board where you ONLY talk BB and nothing more? Would the mods / admins allowed an OT thread where people could go bullshit and play in when the feeds were dead? These houseguests freaking went to bed every night at 9:30 - 10:30. They would sit alone reading or painting their fingernails. There were huge stretches were nothing was going on and so that discussion thread would go off topic. I really find it hard to believe anyone would have put up with a separate "bullshitting" thread here at sucks. Me personally, I've started one thread since I came here, and that one thread got me banned for ever starting a new thread again. I will tell you that once that happened, I rarely ventured out of the discussion thread because I felt completely intimidated. So, what I take all of this to mean is that if people go off topic and discuss things other than the game, we're idiots and losers and have fucked up the place? That is baffling to me, but if that's the case, it would have been nice if someone said don't post about anything but game or strategy and if nothing is going on, don't post. |

I don't get that there is anything elitist or cliquey at all about the BB forum. I think some folks might just be a bit sensitive about whether or not
anyone is reading them because they aren't responded to. I know that I read each and every post in the threads that I do read and laugh hysterically at
most of them. It is a community and I have come to know and like so many folks here..
The largest part of why I get so rabid about BB is because I can jump in at any moment and talk about it with all of my fellow freaks here. And when there is down time on the feeds or flames, are a few cat pictures hurting anyone? I think that attitude is more reflective of someone perhaps having a wooden object inserted in their rectal area. |
