The early seasons really only had a couple token old people with a bunch of 20 somethings too. BB1 had George, Karen, and Cassandra BB2 had the most with Kent, Sheryl, Bunky, and Nicole but they weren't that old at all. BB3 had Gerry and Danielle I guess even though she was only 30. Then it moved on to only one per season, although I guess BB6 didn't have one.

They've really been a fucking drag on the show, as part of the awesomeness of the show was watching these people develop relationships from scratch. Having pre-existing relationships is frustrating as a viewer, as we're not starting at the same place some of the contestants are.

An older cast brings more diverse experiences, conversation and baggage than a younger cast does. No offense to the youngsters here.
