But fake-ass Whitney would still, probably, sell more cosmetics than Lauren. Whitney looks like a girl who can put on make-up and look better. That's what customers want to see. Lauren looks like a girl who never even chooses to wear make-up, and if she does, she wouldn't know the first thing about it. She mostly just looks fug until they point a [still] camera at her and she magically transforms somehow into something photogenic. What motivation does that give somebody viewing the commercial to buy the product? Buying Cover Girl cosmetics is not going to give the girl on the street the innate, mystical ability that Lauren seems to possess...

And for the record, Dominique's performance was also a hundred million times worse than Whitney's. The fact that Whitney was even IN the bottom two is silly. I just hope that it signals the start of a redemption arc wherein she learns to be real (not pageant-y) and does a much better job from here on out...
