Only two seasons have had a final 5 -- Cook Islands and Fiji. So a final four is the norm, not an exception. Nothing odd here.
It will likely still be a final 3 for final tribal. Jeff has said that can't really ever go back to a final 2 now. Plus, having just two people at the end was getting really boring because it would be so predictable who was going to win. In China, they just did a reward challenge and an immunity challenge to make up for not having two immunity challenges like the old finale days. It will all work out, kids. |

Only two seasons have had a final 5 -- Cook Islands and Fiji. So a final four is the norm, not an exception. Nothing odd here.Once again, as I explained a few posts ago, the point I'm trying to make here is that this means someone is removed from the game in either Episode 12 or 13. If 1 person was eliminated in both of those episodes, there would be 5 people in the Finale, but apparently there's only 4 people in the Finale, so clearly someone must have been removed from the game. Get it? Also, although it's clear that the show INTENDED for there to be a Final 3 this season, that doesn't mean that it happens. Sometimes unexpected things happen, like players being removed from the game, that force them to change their plans. Granted, they could still do a Final 3 even with 4 people in the Finale, like they did in China, but it means that they would have had to drop one of the immunity challenges and add an extra reward challenge so they would have a challenge to show for the first half of the Finale. They may have decided that it was easier to have a Final 2 than to come up with a new reward challenge at the last minute. |

If Cirie made it to the F3, I can't see them doing anything that would cause her not to be in the final TC and a chance to win. She is too popular and
people would be happy she won so she would be the one they want to win.

preserve her legacy by letting her get voted out with the extra TC. This is a young jury and I don't really know how beloved she is by the players out
there.

They just like toying with Cirie fans' emotions.
Remember that S12 finale preview that showed Cirie's flames in the tiebreaker challenge way higher than Danielle's? Cirie is always destined to be the "close but no cigar" player, it seems. |

show's fans. These jurors do know her by their reactions when she was introduced. It's Amanda they don't know. Ozzy said Cirie may win because she
was popular and he wouldn't want to take her to the finals. Eliza and Jason have said they liked her. The big question is how does Cirie get anyone to take
her to the F3? There must be a rule in case of tie, wish a past player from a season with a F3 would tell us what it is. If there is no F3 because of the
injury, when do they know it? Are they surprised only at F3 that it will be a F2?

I don't think they'd have to drop or add anything.I suppose they could probably keep the challenge itself the same. They'd still need to come up with a last minute extra reward though. Interesting side note: In the episode description for the Finale on the TV Guide website it says the episode contains "the final immunity challenge", as if there was only one, but if there was a Final 2 then there would be 2 immunity challenges. It probably doesn't mean much, but if anyone's looking for hope for a Final 3 and a Cirie win, there you have it. |

I expect the finale to be like the China finale. One Reward Challenge (though it would have been originally meant to be the F5 Individual Immunity Challenge),
and the Final Immunity Challenge, then the F4 Tribal Council and the Final Three TC.
Coming up with an extra reward wouldn't be very hard. I mean, the finale's Reward Challenge in China was just a pizza. |

We have heard the rumor from TV guide that another player is removed from the game do to a medical situation. We have been shown, in the previews, that James
has his finger looked at by medics and some stitches.....could he be the one removed? In the new issue of TV guide (for 5/8) it shows a picture of all the
remaining contestants lined up for a challenge. In that picture it shows Alexis with her knee wrapped in a bandage.....maybe her?
If a player is removed for medical reasons, then a TC occurs and another is voted out the same episode that leaves five. With two more IC's and two more eliminated at TC's before the final on Sunday 5/11 that leaves three....the final three. TV guide also had a blurb from Jeff about the TC on 5/8 where he says, "You haven't seen the end of dumb moves at TC, "tonights episode is one where you go, 'You've got to be kidding me...this just didn't happen....how could this happen 16 season in?'" |

TV Guide interviewed Jason and he said this
"TVGuide.com: Why didn't you realize that they were going to blindside you? Jason: I really thought that at this point in the game it was in Natalie's best interest to keep me around. The name of the game this season is Survivor: Fans vs. Favorites. I believed the whole time [that the] fans should have stuck together no matter what. Parvati did a good job of luring both Natalie and Alexis into their so-called alliance, but I think Natalie is really naive in thinking that she can actually make it to the final two or final three with the favorites. Hopefully, her move in voting me out comes back to bite her in the ass." Notice how he says "final 2 or 3." With the last 3 seasons of Survivor having a final 3, why would he say final 2 first? It's almost as if he said Final 2 then added final 3 as a way to not give away the fact that it's a F2. Anyone get what I'm saying? |
