Bitches, please. I've never seen any top model contestant as grossly insecure, immature and generally void of real character as Lauren. That's exactly
why she keeps repeating how 'punk rock' she is, because you see, that self proclaimed label keeps her from having to develop a real set of personality.
Everything is so black and white in Lauren's world that 'being yourself' pretty much means not having to adapt to anything or anyone around you
who are just slightly different from what you're used to. Trying or compromising pretty much means betraying the core of
who you are and must be avoided at all cost in order to stay 'true' and 'genuine'

Watching Dominique's and Lauren's commercials had me rolling with laughter.

Also, how can a fucking lipstick irritate your thumb? The point is to put it on your lips, not everywhere else on its path there.

But she is a whiner. True punk rock, honestly. |

Whitney, who is fake, and Lauren, who is real, and yet Tyra chooses the fake bitch.

Lauren sucked. Pain or no pain. |

But Lauren's commercial was still better than Whitney's.

I loved Lauren. Not because she was "real" though, she's just like any other don't-give-a-shit punk princess. The commercial was dreadful. At
least Whitney tried. And it's hard to blame her for acting fake, when she's probably gotten positive reinforcement from that act all her life (from
people like Tyra).

Lauren also made a good point about how her and Whitney were in the bottom 2. Whitney, who is fake, and Lauren, who is real, and yet Tyra chooses the fake bitch. But fake-ass Whitney would still, probably, sell more cosmetics than Lauren. Whitney looks like a girl who can put on make-up and look better. That's what customers want to see. Lauren looks like a girl who never even chooses to wear make-up, and if she does, she wouldn't know the first thing about it. She mostly just looks fug until they point a [still] camera at her and she magically transforms somehow into something photogenic. What motivation does that give somebody viewing the commercial to buy the product? Buying Cover Girl cosmetics is not going to give the girl on the street the innate, mystical ability that Lauren seems to possess... And for the record, Dominique's performance was also a hundred million times worse than Whitney's. The fact that Whitney was even IN the bottom two is silly. I just hope that it signals the start of a redemption arc wherein she learns to be real (not pageant-y) and does a much better job from here on out... |

Lauren may have sucked in the commercial, but she looked great. She was one of the only girls that they did the makeup well on.
