Henry will have her and whoever else crosses his path. I understand Anne's point, but come on. Also, my heart broke for Lady Mary. At least Henry acknowledged her outside the house, but barely. Posts: 92 (04/21/08 10:38 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	chubby lady in waiting. i watch every week heh, that "curvy" one all trussed up in that gold number? hummm... nice... and i agree, anne's blessing or not henry will charge through the women of england like he notoriously charged through a meal. speaking of which... when does the svelte henry with his six-pack and all... leave our screen for the portly henry we all expect? i mean, dude had like 10 years from when he spoiler whacked anne /spoiler until he died. he worked out with fierceness all of that time? please... are we to believe he did the whole corpulent thing in his final few years? come on... granted, i'll accept a hot henry over a porky henry for the sake of a television show. but let's level the playing field. if chubby chicks are put in the spotlight, i demand a historically accurate obese, disgusting, open-running-sores henry! huzzah!

It was pretty sad about More too though. This show is hysterical. Especially the opening scene of Henry, looking all fine, his hair all gelled. lol I mean COME ON. I too will accept hot Henry (obviously) for the sake of the show but he doesnt look like the actual figure AT ALL. For awhile there I thought they were trying to weave in some red highlights into his hair but last night it looked pretty black to me. I thought the whole stealing the young maid from her father thing was pretty funny. The father just stood there like, "hey?"

Showtime orders more tales from 'The Tudors' LOS ANGELES (AP) - Showtime's The Tudors and star Jonathan Rhys Meyers will return for a third season, with production set to begin in June in Ireland. The show, with Rhys Myers portraying an especially fit and handsome King Henry VIII, is midway through its second year. The next season will air in 2009. "The Tudors is now a fixture for us at Showtime and we're on our way to completing the entire saga of all six wives of Henry VIII," Robert Greenblatt, the premium channel's president of entertainment, said in announcing the series' pickup. The drama tracks the king's romantic ups and downs with women including Queen Katherine (Maria Doyle Kennedy), Anne Boleyn (Natalie Dormer) and Jane Seymour (Anita Briem), as well as his clashes with the church. Season 4 would cover wives 5 & 6. It's just a question of whether JRM will sign on for a 4th season. He's currently signed on for 3 seasons.

However, Showtime has HBO beat in the original series department IMO. The only HBO show that comes close to Californication, Weeds, Dexter, Tudors, for me, is Curb.
