I'm wondering how in the world Sayid (and hopefully Desmond) gets off of the freighter! I don't think Doc Ray is who is executed because they describe
the person who is executed as a "major" character.

I don't think "major" in this case means any of the key players - Originals, Others, Freighters(Lapidus and Co). Doc Ray would be major in that
his death would be used to show the time shifting/warping issue. Another possibility is Nidia in the FF, while she isn't major to most of us, her death
does have pretty major ramifications in the future as it is seemingly the reason Sayid is Ben's killing machine.

no one is concerned that prior attempts to approach the island by boat or aircraft has led to either death, injury or illness? And now we have an entire
assault team on the island? I know that the writers only have a certain # of episodes left, but still...
Have rating improved enough to get full seasons instead of shortened ones? |

PumaPeggy wrote: You're right. Dark is pretty reliable so I think we can count Doc Ray out. Nidia is still in play though. What about Nidia in the same position in
the FF as Alex is on the island (of course jumping back and forth between the two stories) and Ben plays it right and Alex lives, but Sayid plays it wrong and
Nidia is whacked?

Today's USA Today ran a bunch of reader submitted theories, along with grading and analysis from Darlton. This
was the last of them. Note what Darlton have to say about it ...
Theory: Dharma chameleon There is an off-island presence for Dharma that is working to get back onto the island to finish their work with the Valenzetti Equation. Ms. Hawking (the white-haired time-traveler who crossed paths with Desmond) was a former Swan worker and developed the same ability Desmond has. Ms. Hawking accidently got this ability during the original incident. She survived by finding her constant - Brother Campbell - and left the island. After leaving the island, her visions developed, and she has seen what needs to take place in order for Dharma to regain control of the island. Her visions include a complicated pattern of people that are required to be on the island in order for a set series of events to occur for Dharma to return to the island. With the help of others, including Christian Shephard, Richard Malkin, Nadia and Libby, the group ensures that specific people are on the plane in order for the series of events to occur. Desmond must reach the island to cause Flight 815 to crash; Locke must locate the hatch to keep Desmond alive. Desmond must influence Charlie to turn off the jamming device. Jack calls the freighter. - Doug Douillard, Fort Collins, Colo. Cuse: "This is a very evolved theory that has a lot of stuff in it that's pretty close to the mark.." Lindelof: "We liked the way it was worded, so concisely. And because it does contain the aforementioned theories of time travel and manipulation of space-time, this theory gets a solid A." Cuse: "As a matter of fact, we can't even comment too much because there's a lot that's pretty accurate." Lindelof: "We're not going to explain why we're giving it an A. Hopefully, the writer of this theory will take their A and put it up on their refrigerator." Cuse: "It's not all correct, but we kind of responded to the way this person thought." Lindelof: "It's not all correct, but it could be correct." Cuse: "Or parts of it could be correct." Lindelof: "That's correct." Cuse: "I will say that this person is going to really respond to Season 5 and feel superior to everyone else." Lindelof: "Then, in Season 6, we will crush their spirits and prove them wrong. And until then, they should enjoy the ride." Linky Linky |

what fascinated me in this show was Ben exclaiming rules had not been followed. I get the feeling then...his calling or using the Smoke monster was something
that had been against rules as well. When Ben confronted Widmore...I had a really odd feeling and wondered...just what the time period was? Was it present
day London? Widmore even seemed to talk with a different style accent I thought. Maybe I'm just crazy<G>

>>Right now the island invasion feels rushed <<
I know what you mean. I think some of that is because of the writers strike. Instead of us getting the full 16 eps for this season...they had to be happy with 13 eps instead. But at least they got an extra hour added onto the season finale. That should help abit. In interviews...they admit they are having to condense somethings for this season....because they had a certain spot at the storyline they wanted/needed to be by the end of this season. |

aha! Lostpedia mentions Widmore previously has always spoken with an English accent...spoke with an Australian accent. I'm not going nuts<g>. |
