Whatever Kristy was going to do with "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" would have been a million times better than Brooke's massacre.
It's really ashame she turned out to be an annoying, psycho chick who can't sing that well. Her folksy-pop style is probably the style of music I enjoy most. Oh well, I'll just go back to listening to Colbie Caillat's CD and hope for someone more like her next year. |

She just keeps getting worse in such strange, shocking ways.
However... I'm glad she stayed around just because I loved Paula's reaction to her starting over. That was one of my favorite AI moments ever. She still deserves to leave this week. Who wants to hear her sing 2 Neil Diamond songs? |

She gets more embarassing to watch every week. Tonight was the worst yet. Aside from a decent version of You've Got A Friend (which was a step up from
Jolene the week before) she has gone steadily downhill every week since Let It Be, both musically and in her demeanor. I don't think there's EVER been
a contestant who fell apart this completely on the show. Certainly there's never been one whose decline lasted this long. Even worse, I think it will be
Jason (who was admittedly also very bad) that gets the boot this week and she will just be in the bottom 2 again. Not because of sympathy votes, but because of
PITY votes. Bleh.

She is the type of unbalanced contestant they used to show for laughs in the audition but not put through to Hollywood. They obviously put her through as an
experiment. It failed and I hope they learned their lesson. People that act psycho in auditions are not suddenly going to become great on the show.

Perhaps they did, but there's nothing obvious about it. Around top 12 week we were seriously talking about her being in the finale. She's simply a
moderately talented contestant who has completely fallen apart under pressure and should have been booted last week. Some contestants fold under pressure
(Julia Demato, Lisa Tucker) others shrug it off or get better (Sanjaya, KKKristy). Brooke is in the first group. What's unique about Brooke, and sad, is
how long she's lasted.
