Deb grew on me, but Rita? Never.
Next to Dexter, Batista gets the best lines. Subtle but so so funny: "You must've been a motherfucker at cat's cradle."
I can only imagine what Season 2 brings.

Now Rita I liked Season 1. She just seemed so nice and trusting and fragile.
But in Season 2 I thought the writers made her make a lot of willy-nilly decisions to advance the plot that didn't seem true to character. But by the end of the season I was placated, since the season ended so well. |

I saw the first show of the second season during a Showtime preview and know that Brian is Dexter's brother. What I don't remember is this: did Dexter
ever kill Brian?

Yeah, and aside from the necessity of different plots and overall sturcture the books are much much more in Dexter's head. I'm on the third book now
and it's even more different.

Thank God for surfthechannel! I stumbled on it a couple of weeks ago and just got fully caught up on season 2. I really think this is one of the best shows
around and I love me some Dexter. I hated Deb at first, but she is growing on me.

We have moved lately and I missed ep 11 of the first season and then the start of the second season. I've since been able to get caught up with the show and I'm digging every grisly scene. I had Lila figured out way too quickly but the rest is awesome. No one in my family can believe I watch this because it's so opposite of everything I normally watch but the show is just that good and that well done that you get absorbed into the characters and forget everything else. I can't wait for season three. |

Awesome first season, and awesome wrap up, too. I knew Rudy was going to be his brother but didn't expect him to kill him. Just thought Rudy would
somehow die accidentally in an escape attempt.
The cop that's now tailing Dexter - couldn't that be considered harassment or stalking? His memories playing in the yard was so cute. His closeness with big brother Brian/Briony was sweet. |

I'm not sure, but I've also heard somewhere or another that he and Deb are dating irl. I think it's true, but I think they're trying to keep it
quiet cause of how weird it'd come off seeing as they play brother and sister on the show.

I re-watched season one since it re-aired on cbs and got my sister and brother totally hooked on it. She's already added Showtime to her channel line up
and so I need to get them ready for Season 3. Anyone know if Season 2 is on DVD yet?
