I want the old Brooke back, i'll always be rooting for her, since most of her earlier performances are IMO, still the best of the entire season. If she
survives, I think she can potentially make F4, not sure how much farther, but maybe she's the true Jasmine of the season? The originial Aloha Kitty, Aloha

I really feel sorry for Brooke. This was the second time during the Top 12 that she stopped and started again. Paula was dead serious when she told her to
stop doing that. Vocally, I pretty much enjoyed her performance. I was too distracted through the whole thing because of her false start, though. She will
be so disappointed if she gets kicked off during a week when she royally effed up.

Paula was absolutely correct. Once the show starts you can't do a do over. The AI band didn't have to stop, they could have kept on playing. And
I'm sure directors and producers would never work with Brooke again if she pulled such a stunt on a live TV program. Here's a performance by Diana
Ross and the Supremes from the mid 60's. Diana messes up the lyrics at the start but she works through it and pulls out a good performance by the end.

I loved how after her performance, when the camera goes to the contestants family, it read "Brooke's husband and friends" and it was just a big black lady on the right and some skinny white dude that wasn't her husband on the left. loved it. |
