So I'm visiting my parents in Montreal and it's so dirty and scuzzy in their neighborhood that I'm calling everything 'Ghetto'. My mom gets
all mad cause she says Ghetto means a group of people forced to be segregated from society. Of course I'm all like wtf?? and an argument ensues leading to
alot of shrieking between us on the proper way to interpret the English language and words and blah blah blah. We ask my dad, he says something about the Jews
and the Nazis.

so my mom pulls out her trusty Websters dictionary to look up the word /ghetto. I freak out cause this dictionary is from 1973 and I'm saying that language has changed in the past 30 years and now they accuse me of backtracking! This is worse that arguing with you morons cause these are the people that gave me life and I actually want to kill them!!
The ancient Websters definition proves my mother right: A section of a city occupied by a minority group who live there especially because of social, economic, or legal pressure.

I storm upstairs and make them come read the Wikepedia definition that proves me correct: The term "ghetto" is now commonly used to refer to any poverty-stricken urban area. In the U.S.
and then when I'm like ,See? I'm right. you live in the ghetto!' my parents are like 'that's your opinion'
