This show works on so many levels. The flash-forwards, the interpersonal relationships, strong plots.

Then I will really be pissed if they don't renew the show and we don't know what happens.

Earthquake happens! Eli vindicated! Jordan continues running the company!
And we still have the surgery to look forward to. Fantastic. The flashforward was 10 years in the future so there's plenty of time to drag out the Maggie/Eli story. |

at the end (on last night). That was the finale, wasn't it?

you didn't see the one where he helped the guy in prison get a parole hearing? It was titled "Patience". That's where the flash came of
Maggie holding up the 'baby' and waving to Eli as he walked onto the stage during his montage of what seemed liked all that had happened to him this
season.
Ep details: "Eli takes up the case of a prisoner who is coincidently Keith's ex-client. Meanwhile, the law firm is visited by one of its partners, Marci Klein, who wants to investigate as to why the law firm was losing its Fortune 500 clients. This investigation by Marci could threaten Jordan's reign" (You can watch it on abc.com ) I loved the finale and I liked how they ended it with him waking up. If it doesn't get renewed... I liked how they closed if off. BUT PLEASE RENEW IT!!! Everyone could use an "Eli Stone"

Thanks! I guess I missed an episode and didn't even realize it. Hopefully I can watch it on abc.com (I'm in Canada and sometimes we can't watch
online)
Anyway, I too liked the finale and hope it gets renewed. I started off not loving it, but I'm glad I stuck with it. |

I think "Patience" was on a Sunday, Jelloshot, so maybe that is how you missed it?

I think he will still have the visions proving that it was more than just the aneurysm all along Great finale! I really love James Saito as Dr. Chen. I think he is my favorite character

Yeah. I loved his subconscious talk with Dr Chen.
The episode was a little confusing. Did he really take on a case and was he just flashing back to it while in the coma? Or was it just something his mind came up with to tell him to fight? |

I think it was something his mind came up with, or a vision to help himself. But he must have been getting vibes from the guy cos at one point you saw that he
was the other patient in Eli's room
That could prove my theory that he will still have visions even without the aneurysm since he was sans aneurysm at that point. |

Loved the episode.
How did this do in the ratings? I hope it's renewed. |

From Kristen on eonline:
The upfronts aren't next until week in New York City, which is where all the official pickups and cancellations are set to be announced, but sources close to ABC have tipped me that while bubble show Eli Stone will get the nod for a season two, another hour-long drama, Women's Murder Club, will not be returning. Looks like it's going to be back! |

Exclusive: Katie Holmes Cruises to 'Eli Stone'Jul 16, 2008, 08:41 AM | by Michael Ausiello Categories: Eli Stone
Yep, you read that headline correctly. In arguably the biggest piece of stunt casting since How I Met Your Mother lassoed Britney Spears, sources confirm to me exclusively that Katie Holmes is returning to the small screen this fall on ABC's sophomore drama, Eli Stone. A spokesperson for the show declined to comment, but I'm told Suri's mama is on board for one episode. The gig, which should give a nice boost to the critically-adored but marginally-rated series, marks a reunion between Holmes and her former Dawson's Creek boss, Eli exec producer Greg Berlanti. After shooting her eppy later this month, Mrs. Tom Cruise will head to New York, where she'll be making her Broadway debut this fall in a revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons. So, what do you think, Eli fans? I'm thinking you're embracing this news since it'll no doubt expose Eli to millions of potential new viewers. Plus, it's freakin' Joey Potter! You with me?! |
