This was the GREATEST NON-FINALE EPISODE OF SURViVOR EVAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was COMPLETELY shocked!!!!!!!!!!And totally THRILLED TO BE SHOCKED!!!!!!!!!I really liked Jason and HE BEAT OZZY!!!!! And NOBODY EXPECTED IT!!!! Well, it did cross my mind that this was the PURRRRRECT time for Cerie, the good witch to work her magic!!!!!!! And SHE DID!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!I am so excited for JP and EPMB and SEG and the whole survivor team!!!!!!!!!!!You REALLLLLLLY made great television tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even gettting TV Guide to run "The Biggest Blunder" with Jason's picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYBODY fell for it!!!!!Including me!!!!!!I thought this was going to be the most PREDICTABLE episode!!!!!!!!!!! But it wasn't!!!!!!!!!!! Not since Hatch won the million and Sue Hawk's RatsnSnakes speech has anything on Survivor turned me upside down like this!!!! I LOVE IT!!! Survivor ROCKED and RULED tonight!!!! It's still after how many seasons? The Greatest Show on Television!!! Congrats to EVERYBODY!!!! Especially Jason, Cirie and yes, even Pavrati!!! Parvati has lost TWO jury votes now!!!! Eliza's and now Ozzy's!!!!!!!You can also believe that Amanda is the fourth person down on that "Girl Power" alliance, Natalie's first QUOTE! She FINALLY said something! And also, like the Favorites alliance, since we are shown it, it's also probably doomed to fail. They've got to get ALLLLL the guys out and now it's FOUR Faves vs. FOUR FANS and if James does go next week,(probably not because they showed he practically was) the Fans will be dominant in numbers, if they so choose to go that way....AND THEY MIGHT!!!! I LOVE YOU, JASON!!!! You contributed to creating one of the greatest episodes in Survivor History!!! AND YOU DID BEAT OZZY, like you had planned to!!! It's now an individual game, for sure...but will the fans be crafty enough to pull it out...??? Queen Cirie Fields, collect your million!!!! As much as he's disliked, Cirie, Natalie, Alexis and yes, Parvati, too...all allied with him and that's the new POWER FIVE. IF they stick together!!!!! WOW!!!!!

I thought for sure after "the promises" and fingers crossed that Jason was out. WOW! Ozzy was stupid to hang onto the HII. I guess the big blunder was giving up in the challenge and not playing the idol. Still trying to figure out how that tops James. Congrats to those few who got their picks correct. Making picks are fun but for those of us who guessed wrong, let's get past our faux pas and onto the next episode!

Posts: 1240 (04/17/08 9:33 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	No, I think being a returning Fave, in fact The King of the Faves and NOT playing the HII was A BIGGER blunder than James' not playing the two of them...Ozzy should've known better...Really...She should've...Eliza said in the first Episode, or maybe it was the TV Guide article on the first episode when she was talking to Cirie about Ozzy, "He's not that smart." And we saw tonight that, indeed, he wasn't!!! And Jeff was laughing in his video promo this week, and we all thought he was laughing at poor Jason.... Jason has now put his li'l self into a Final Five alliance, Cirie, Parvati, Alexis and Natalie, if he wants it. Of course, we're sure he wants it. Only will he be smart enough to last that long... Cirie and Parvati are now the NEW Power couple and bravo to the both of them for pulling this one off!!! Now the New Fivesome has to take out the other three players first, James, Eric and Amanda. But WILL THEY? If the NEW FIVE stick together...they've really got something...but someone said something about including Amanda. They really shouldn't do that..Amanda is much smarter than she's been edited...However...She doesn't know, or seemingly like, Natalie and Jason and we KNOW she doesn't like or trust Alexis...WITH Good Reason...And now she's really got it in for Parvati. "YOU VOTED OUT MY BOYFRIEND!" Amanda hasn't been outfoxed like this before. She certainly wasn't on SChina... All the NEW FIVE have to do now is stick together...But will they? And this puts James and Eric REALLY on the outside...And Jason may finally have some friends...JASON may be the last MAN standing. I hope he wins this, now! Go Jason! Go Jason! WHAT AN EPISODE!!!

That is all. bows respectfully Thank you, TheySay. :) Congratulations, Shadow Diana. Brilliant minds think alike. :) The preview for this week's episode looks almost exactly like the one that preceded Rupert's boot episode in Pearl Islands. I posted this on the Boot Tally thread. This is what really tipped me off last week. It was really Story Arc analysis via the pr eviews. No boot sheet is 100% reliable, and need always to be held in context with everything else. SurvivorFever's "mid-jury" ranking was pretty vague. There are no family visit spoilers for Ozzy. "Mid Jury is anything from juror #2 to juror #6. All along the spoilers have indicated the women take control of the game. From the beginning I've stated this season was about the women outwitting the men and the men outwitting themselvres. Ozzy, while an tremendous athlete has never been the braintrust in this game. Even his second hidden idol trick he copied from Yul. When alliances are overthrown, it's usually a good idea to cut off the head. Since I think the next four boots are the four remaining men in the game, it could have been any of them. It was really the near copy of the episode preview from the S7 Rupert boot episode that led me to think that CBS was preparing the audience for Ozzy's boot. Woo hoo! I rule! Jason is still a tool. (A much smaller one now in the utilitarian sense, and a much larger one in the godlike-delusions sense.) He's out the first time he doesn't win immunity. For everyone else, it will be interesting to see who wants to sulk and recriminate, and who moves gracefully to a new alliance position.

Nice one, birdlady!! That was an amazing episode. I don't know that I have ever yelled out loud at the TV like that before! I honestly thought Jason was going home. I was positive that Parvati would bail on the plan and stick with her showmance alliance. I have never been happier to be wrong. My kids all asked why I hated Ozzy so much, to which I had to explain that I had nothing against Ozzy. It was simply a beautiful plan, executed perfectly. Woot! And the audience was as blindsided as Ozzy, in general.

The editing in this and previous episode reminded me of Amazing Race's style of editing.. PRIDE COMETH BEFORE THE FALL And Ozzy was being shown as quite arrogant. Where Jason was looking like the underdog and defeated. Thanks for the play-by-play, was great to read it earlier and I actually let out a shout when I read the outcome. And my otherwise serene partner yelled at the TV as well. one of the best survivor episodes evah! And Cirie, whether she wins or not, will truly be one of the best players ever to grace our screen.

She's why HE'S still there. And tonight, she totally saved Jason's ass. He's GOT to appreciate that... Just musings on potential jury votes for Cirie over Parvati...who seems to have NONE Of course, this could change...LOLOL...Don't like Jason referring to himself as a GOD. Or "a Survivor God" or someone "God-like" I don't ever remember a Survivor referring to himself as a diety before....??? It has been so set up to discount Jason. But y'know...the spoilers were wrong tonight...they could continue to be wrong...Jason's the PURRRFECT F2 goat, if any of them stop to think about it...Wasn't there some kind of cross-cutting between him and Cirie when that was being discussed at last tribal? Like "You take someone to the end that everybody hates"...and this season that would be Jason...He's just got to keep winning ICs...And maybe he does...Let me be the first to say he may be the last man standing, I mean, male man, and maybe even further.... Cirie now knows he can get Jason to vote with her...Who was it who came up to Jason and told him how they were voting? Was it Parvati? Was it Cirie? Eric at the Native Village....I saw this as his "good-bye" softening edit from SEG. His story as Ozzy's doggie bag is now done. He can go. They're making it look like James, but....

It was a great episode and full of surprises and even a great cultural lore reward. Eliza's reaction to Ozzy's votes being revealed made the episode -- not to mention Amanda's reaction as well. Even though I think he's one of the most overrated Survivor players ever -- great athlete, but very poor in strategic abilities, I have to cut Ozzy some slack for being an asshole in his final words. When one is blindsided like that it is hard to be gracious. I'm just surprised CBS showed it. CBS has re-edited final words before and taken things out of context as they did when Johnny-pots-and-pans was booted, so I'll be interested to see the whole transcript. ----------- I'm back to my Alexis/Cirie/Parvati in the final 3 with Cirie winning.

And "we" (I'm not following the spoilers, week-to-week, at least, so it's really YOU that really Mucked 'em Fup!) fell for it? FOR SHAME! Maybe it's Ozzy's inabilty to recognize the Coup. But there's no way in HELL Ozzy could have seen this coming. He'd have to be a freaking PSYCHIC. Jason WAS the obvious boot. And Parvarti WILL SUFFER for backing the Coup too early. She just TRASHED her slim chances of winning. Ozzy's restraint will be measured against YAU-MAN'S who knew EXACTLY when to play the HII and JAMES who held on one time too long, betting on Black ONE SPIN too many. I don't blame Ozzy AT ALL. He was the biggest, honking Threat out there and he knew it. Her came out swinging, which he couldn't in Cook Islands. He consolidated all the Alliances around him. It was the only way he COULD play half-ASS. If Pavarti hadn't screwed him, he might have WON. She WILL SUFFER for this decision. It's a matter of "Pick Your Poison" and Parvarti DID NOT CHOOSE WISELY.
