Because if they keep Natalie, and keep their alliance with her, Sharon will be gone, and Sheila will have only the POV (and history doesn't give her much hope there) to possibly defend herself ... she'll be a sitting duck. But the bottom line here is that Sheila would never have been clued in about the possibility that Nat was "their girl" for F3 had the story about Adam and Natalie doing a joint venture in business after the show never come up.

I think Adam hates Sheila's guts. "Acting" like he hates her is easy for him because of this. When he called her a cunt today, I think he meant it. Up until Sheila started sucking up to every about to be evicted HG, Sheila was his perfect (detested) goat. After listening to Sharon last night, and her "Queen For a Day" wins, it cemented in his head that he does not want to risk sitting next to Sheila or Sharon in final two. Ryan has become his choice, and I believe the conversations they are having have more truth than anything he spins to Sheila. He doesn't trust Ryan either, but Ryan would lose against him, Sheila might not, so he's trying to stick with Ryan, or possibly even take Nat with him.

Adam has said things in his DR sessions - and to Julie Chen when he was HOH that showed he likes Sheila for real. He's not like "interested" romantically or anything, but I think a friendship and mutual respect thing has grown over the course of the game. Number one for Adam is I think he trusts Sheila more than anyone else in the house. He believes she's true to him and has his back - and has said he's got hers. He's said several times she's his #2 to the end. Does she annoy the shit out of him often? Hell yeah. And vice versa. But down deep they really care about each other like a brother/sister.
