Israeli TV network Reshnet has bought rights for a local version of TAR and will film also in Asia. It was also mentioned on Wikipedia on The Amazing Race article. Has anyone heard anything about this?

The new version will see contestants from Israel divided into teams of two people with a variety of relationships to be filmed around the clock in a race to various destinations across Asia. At each destination, the teams will have to compete in a series of challenges-some mental and some physical-and only when the tasks have been completed will they learn their next destination. The teams who are farthest behind will continue to get eliminated as the contest progresses, and the first team to arrive at the final destination wins a large cash prize. Tom Toumazis, the executive VP and managing director for Disney-ABC International Television for EMEA and Canada, commented: "The format of The Amazing Race has seen great success in the U.S. and Asia-the high-octane excitement and 'fish out of water' comedy of the series has held universal appeal for viewers. We are looking forward to seeing an action-packed contest between contestants from Israel, across Asia." Most Israelis like to go to places like Thailand and Japan, so it's not wonder they are going there. And as a child of Israeli parents I can tell you they don't feel more like Europeans. But in terms of continents the Israelis would be considered Asians as the Middle East is in Asia, except for one little piece of Turkey that's in Europe, but that's about it.

He has lately been associated with all those rumors of conspiracy revolving around this show, claiming that this whole game was staged and the production was involved in saving this tard's ass by persuading the rest of the contestants to vote off other people from their tribe in order to keep him around longer for entertainment value. As a whole, the Israeli Survivor is pretty much of a Train-wreck if you ask me, I'm hoping TAR-Israel wouldn't fall into the same shticks.

(In English - I know all of five words in Hebrew and it relates to ordering beer!) At least they have more then a 5 member jury. Posts: 29 (04/22/08 3:20 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	^ Nope, sorry dude. all in Hebrew.. but while searching the web i happened to find this article about the show, if you'd find it interesting.. and yeah, they got 9 people in the jury, while the merge was at 11 people. it is possible now that the jury is not voting for the winner, but only deciding based on the F4, who makes the finals and the winner is chosen by the viewers at home. It's horrid. especially because the winner might be the "hot" blond guy who has spent over a month on Exile Island and didn't have to play dirty like the rest of the finalists.. and about the beer thing..
