My kids have been to plenty of those. The issue is: are the parents drunks? Because if they are, they are not really chaperoning, they are too fucked up and a lot of things can happen, including kids getting their keys back.

At ours I never ever drink with the kids. I also have very strict rules, so far so good. I know the other kids parents as well, so that helps.

All these different party types reminded me of something.

i work with a girl who's training to be a cop. Last week they did body searching, and told the recruits about a drug dealer who uses a couple women to sell their drugs. These 2 women each carry 2 softball (not hardball) sizes of drugs. Guess where they carry it?

When they don't have drugs to carry, they actually stuff 2 softballs up there to keep themselves stretched out.

Just thought I'd share that tidbit.
