With that said, they should just turn Idol into C.N.T.M. all into 1 and give the winner a record deal and a deal with Ford all at once.

Imagine this... Canadian Tyrant (maybe Sass?): "You sang that Celine Dion song really well and made it your own but your pictures...didn't.... deliver." "Your eyes should go like @_@ and not like -_- See? Look at me right now, I'm doing @_@ and then.... -_- It's all in the eyes!" "So who's going home? The girl from Newfoundland who can make any song her own but does not take ownership of her quirky facial features? Or the cattle farmer girl from Alberta who takes FIERCE pictures but bores the audience with his singing?..............................................
Kalan, I'm giving you another chance to vie for CANADA'S.NEXT.TOP.MODEL.."

"Your eyes should go like @_@ and not like -_- See? Look at me right now, I'm doing @_@ and then.... -_- It's all in the eyes!" Can00kia's favorite tranny, Stacy McKenzie, must host that shit. <333

"Your eyes should go like @_@ and not like -_- See? Look at me right now, I'm doing @_@ and then.... -_- It's all in the eyes!"RB!!! and the Kalan picture being adrogynous tops it. The show would be much improved like this, fo real. Stacy McKenzie is weird looking. I'm sorry but how the hell is she a model? Judging by Stacy's success, the next CI alumni to get a Ford contract is going to be Fetus. |

I never said Brian should get a contract either. Whoram and Carly Rae should.
Sass would be hilarious hosting CNTM/Idol. |

so my friend messages me and tells me she's auditioning today in toronto and needs someone to go with. i say sure. i've always wanted to go and see
what its like. in reality i suck at singing. i'm next to tonedeaf, or so i thought, but my friend is amazing and i figured she'd at least make
celebrity judges, so we go. morning of i decide to sing 'on the way down' by ryan cabrera, because i figure it's not a challenging song. my friend
sings 'stronger' by faith hill.
we go into the small room for tier 1. theres five of us, one producer, and one staff worker. i have to sing first, i butcher the song, obviously, and we move on. the chick beside me sings 'addicted' by kelly clarkson, she's got a nice voice but she was really stiff and nervous. another chick sings 'rehab' but was way too quiet. my friend goes, she rocks it. then some other chick sings some over the top musical song with some really terrible notes. the one producer made all the decisions, didn't consult the other dude at all. she says shes going to cut two of us and keep three of us to sing more for her. the rehab girl gets cut, and surprisingly, my friend gets cut. my friend apparently didnt perform well enough while the other chick was too quiet. so she makes the musical girl go again. she does, still over the top, and she gets cut because hte producer feels that how she sang isn't her real voice and that she's putting on too much of an act. 'addicted' girl goes again and sings beautiful my Xtina. pretty good, but again, too stiff and not lively enough. she goes. my turn again. i sing 'promise' by eve 6. im nervous as hell and she says that the song doesnt show enough of my range so asks me to sing a 3rd song. i had only thought about singing ryan and as a backup earlier on decided on promise. at this point my heart is pounding and im so nervous i can not think of any songs at all. she asks who i like, i say kelly clarkson, she says do a kelly song. but i was so nervous i couldnt even think of any kelly songs. after a minute or so i choose a blink 182 song, 'all the small things'. i giver. during my song she turns to the other person and on a pad of paper writes down "?". i take this as she's on the fence with me and needs his opinion. this dude was quiet and didnt smile or talk at all the whole time and this is the first time she's asked him or acknowledged him for help. he writes something down and as he's writing i can tell im singing worse and worse so i stop. i had forgotten the lyrics to promise and all the small things so i knew i was going down hill. she looks at me and says; "i love your look, i love your personality, i love your vibe. i love your confidence and your stage presence. it's all working. your voice ... is good. it's not great. what we have to realize is that this is the last stop on the tour, so we've seen everyone, and we know the talent level out there. you're not as good a singer as people who've gone through. but, you are by far the most entertaining of this group and i was genuinely entertained by you. i liked you. unfortunately, we can't send you to the next round. but keep practicing, we definitely want to see you next year" so i got cut. but i was so happy, going in expecting nothing hearing those words made me so happy. great experience. i got to thinking that maybe if i even rehearsed at least once before going in, maybe i'd had made it? who knooooows. we'll see next year =P |

That's awesome, Strahlx. You should definitely practice on your voice and your androgyny. The only criticism I can give is that you asked them nothing of
the fetus, did you?

Once again, Keith = the true winner of CI4 If you look at his official page (http://brianmelo.com/tour.cgi), it's virtually blank but there's a link where you can book Blah-ian for an appearance (like at a backyard birthday party for a six year old brat or maybe at a bar mitzvah) |

I wish I wasn't so shy, I would totally audition for shits and giggles if I could stand to sing in front of people.
Keith and Renee need to perform in Toronto again. They barely ever come to Toronto and they did one date recently and I was so ticked off because I couldn't go to that date. I wanna see them so bad. |

Canadian Idol announces 'last chance' online auditions
Updated Mon. Apr. 14 2008 9:28 AM ET CTV The search for Canada's next Idol is heading into cyberspace, allowing singers in any part of the country with access to a computer to audition for this year's competition. It's only the second time in the history of the Idol franchise that competitors have had the opportunity to audition online, marking yet another North American first for Canadian Idol. By extending the breadth of the national search, producers are now offering every eligible Canadian the opportunity for exposure and a chance to start a professional music career, no matter where they live. Beginning today and lasting until Friday, April 25 at 5 p.m. ET, online Idol competitors simply need to upload video tryouts to the Canadian Idol website, idol.CTV.ca. "Over the past six years, we've traveled tens of thousands of miles across this vast country, to every province and two territories, in search of the best undiscovered musical talent," said Susanne Boyce, president, Creative, Content and Channels, CTV Inc. "Now, we're heading into a new frontier with the hopes of leaving no stone left unturned. Hopefully this initiative will uncover some talent that we otherwise would not have had the opportunity to find." Throughout the past five seasons, Canadian Idol has defined itself as one of the most innovative formats in the world. Now, not only will this new online element open up the competition to those unable to travel to an audition city, it also allows those unsuccessful at previous audition tour stops a second chance to earn a Gold Ticket to the "Top 100" round in Toronto. "It's not possible for the tour to hit every province and territory each year, but now there's nothing holding people back from being part of the Canadian Idol experience," said John Brunton, executive producer of Canadian Idol. "Now Canadians who might not normally be able to audition in person can audition online to show the judges what they've got." Those interested in auditioning online should visit idol.CTV.ca to view the list of approved audition songs. Registration forms, rules and regulations as well as FAQs for in-person and online auditions can also be found on the site. Following the same process as in-person auditions, online entries will go through two rounds of pre-selection before earning an audience with the Canadian Idol Judges. Farley Flex, Jake Gold, Sass Jordan and Zack Werner will select the additional members of the "Top 100" based on talent. As with the cross-country audition tour, there is no pre-determined number of virtual Gold Tickets that will be awarded. Online auditions are open to all Canadians between the ages of 16 and 28 (inclusive) as of January 25, 2008. Competitors may perform with an instrument, but they will be judged evenly on their singing, whether playing instruments or singing a cappella. Those choosing to play an instrument will also be judged on their playing abilities. Yay!!! ANOTHER NORTH AMERICAN FIRST!1111!! TAKE THAT AMERICAN IDOL!!!!1111!!! |

That is damn smart of them, to have "online" auditions.
When does CI start. I usually enjoy it as much as Idol and I like the judges A LOT more. |

Usually, it starts a week after the AI finale (first week of June)

Who wants to bet this is in response to all those fucking people in Saskatchewan bitching about how the tour didn't stop their. Now they can't claim
it's unfair if no one from Sask makes it because they've made it possible for anyone in the entire Country to audition.
